Let me introduece you to our new grandpup, "Violet"...omg...SO complacent, so adorable, so loving, so kissy, it's like she's lived at our DD's home all this time! I can't even imagine a more special doggie!!!
She follows our Grandson around, has her bed in his room, they play "chase me chase me", and honestly, she's THE perfect companion for everyone!
Here she is with her one surviving pup, who was adopted earlier.
Violet is in her new, large and loving forever home!!!
So....my new Grandpup!!

Taffy is home! Skinny as all get-out, pretty much just bones, which is really scary - but she's in very good shape. No owies, cuts, bites, etc. - just matted fur, and filthy - which we will deal with later.
Just absolutely amazed that Milan and my husband were able to get her out of those few inches under the shed with a fishing net - popped her in a pillowcase and walked her home - put her in my arms!
So she needed and will need time - she's eating a bit, drinking, wants to be in the sun. She stinks to high heaven - but again, fixing that will come later.
Vader freaked - we were just separating her, putting her into the bedroom when Taffy ran in there to go under the bed - and Milan went to get Taffy and Vader went all Ninja on Milan, scratching him up pretty bad. Vader is just howling, but Taffy isn't even responding.
BUT, holding Taffy in my arms, her purring her special quiet purr - nothing beats that. She's making some funny sounds, but I imagine that may shift - whatever, we'll see.
Just extremely grateful that she is in the shape she is!
I've been crying buckets of happy tears, and am now giving Milan some snuggle time with her.

I KNEW she was going to be found! ( o.k. I was praying, hoping and visualizing you finding her! ) You did all the right things though Natalka to get the info out on her description and that paid off with the phone call that she was found.
Hooray!!! Perfect early Christmas present for you all.

Oh Nat, I'm so happy for you.
Yes, a little time will do wonders. Thank heaven for that woman who called.

Lynn, you can see the gentleness in Violet's eyes, she is a beauty. Your grandson must be ecstatic!
Nat, I can't even express how happy I am for you. I am so glad you found her, and bless the lady that contacted your son.

I love dogs. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have my dog to keep me company.

Nat, that is the BEST news ever!!!!!! Like Walks, I visualized her home again, being snuggled by you, and I have to agree that you, your hubby and Milan did all the right things to bring her home again!!
Bless that lady's heart for caring for her and calling you, leading to Taffy being home again; what she must have gone through, poor muffin. It'll take time for her to trust 'life' again, to find comfort again, but she has you and your family and she's just one very lucky cat!!!!
What a little Christmas miracle this is!!!!

Well, after hours she's settling in a bit - wow, she is so small though - just bones under the fluff, which turned into fluff again after a bit of a wash - though she still had junk embedded in places which I'll work on more tomorrow.
She is extremely weak, though - that's hard to see. Vader is not happy to see her, she's hissing and howling... so they are staying apart, but that will be hard to keep that way.
So my silly son messages me a pic from the next room, lol - Taffy back on his lap, best buds.

That's a great pic Nat.
You're right, she doesn't look thin, but a normal, healthy cat. She must have a lot of fur.
Regardless, she's beautiful, and she's back.

The fluff is hiding everything - we just weighed her - she's only 4 pounds, down from 8.3 - yikes!
