    Good morning!

    Had about three hours' sleep, but I've had to pull out the big drugs this morning and took a dose of Tylenol Back Pain to see if it makes a difference for the sciatica. My arm is much better, so I was happy my husband could do his magic with that.

    Hoping this is the last day of very cold - weather forecast is teasing with zero for tomorrow.

    I hear 'ya Nat. I had a real rough night of pain too. I slept from about 5 - 8.
    The hight difference between the air cast and my other foot, is really affecting my back.

    If it's not one thing, it's another.
    I guess it's the price of getting older.

    I've got a really busy day ahead, but I hope you all have a good, pain - free day.

    Natalka, such good news about your Sister!!! But sorry you're in so much pain lately; I hope it passes soon.

    22Hicks, could you prop your other leg onto a pillow to even out the pressure on your back? I know how awkward it is sleeping 'off kilter', but maybe for a better night's sleep it might help.

    Well, painting class today and I want to do something I've been thinking about for my lilacs, so I'll ask my teacher if it would work. Picky work, but I think it'll have a nice effect.

    The kids and our Grandson have flown off to the Sault to hook up with friends there for the weekend; 'the girls' are taking the kids to Traverse City to Great Wolf Lodge for the long weekend, and 'the boys' are going snowboarding....in the melting temps....oopsies!

    SO! You all have a lovely day, rest if you need to, work if you have to...

    Looks like our January melt is on the way, folks!! we'll probably all enjoy that..getting some fresh, not frosty air! Yay!!

    Dan, hope everything goes well for you!

    Husband came home with a surprize cheque from work - bonus for having worked at the company 10 years. (Though he says his anniversary there is in Nov.?)
    Pretty nice, considering last week he got his annual raise and bonus.

    Glad it's Friday, so I have him home for the weekend!

    Awful news about a school in Northern SK, there was a school shooting.
