Good Morning Kids..
Well it's Tuesday, feels like it should be Thursday or Friday, But it's not..
My Buddy passed yesterday after I got there. But I keep telling myself he is in a much better place now.
I've got Chiro this morning, hoping we didn't get the freezing rain they called for..
Hope YOU all have a GREAT day.. God Bless YOU all..

@MortgageQueen - sounds like a pretty full day, but the 'open mike' outing sounds like a fun way to end the day. Glad you had a good time.
I'm sure lenders hate farms, considering how much they hate cottages; and getting insurance - shish.
@avoncallingu - I hope your DH feels better today, but as it is, your day sounded busy. Maybe take it a little easier today.
Oh, I forgot to wish you all a good morning, and a terrific day.

Good morning, everyone!!
RNC, sincere condolences for the passing of your dear Friend; God bless him, and his family and friends who mourn their loss.
Dan, you're going to have a great review today!! How could you not?! So exciting to hear the outcome!
Avon, jeepers....what can I say, my dear Friend....I'm happy to hear your Hubby's on his way to those appointments and can only hope and pray the doctors' collaborations make him all better again.
MQ, lol...I'm glad you cleared that up!Oh, I'd have loved to own a little hobby farm; only problem would be hiring a whole whack of people to work on it. I just want to pet all the animals.
Natalka: maybe schizophrenic spring is starting early! We're at -1, going way up to 0, so more dead white crap in the forecast!
22Hicks...I hope you have a good day, hobbling around and testing the waters, so to speak, on that leg. How are you doing on it lately? Are you at full or still measured weight on it?
It's probably a sewing day for me today; I want to cut out a new top for spring..just a nice t-shirt to bum around in...but...nice..
Have a lovely, hopefully springy day!! I just love spring and it just feels like it's in the air with these temperatures!!

Well today is Treatment Tuesday - a day that I detest,
I wish sarcoma would listen up & grant me this request,
Please just leave my body & stop making life so topsy-turvy,
Nobody invited you along for this ride, you really are quite nervy!
You've sent me to places that I never dreamed that I would have to go,
I've tried to suck it up as they say, but I hate always looking out below,
I've been tired all too often & even a little weary,
Sarcoma I am telling you again, I don't care at all for your theory,
You had no right; how dare you creep, slither & plunder,
I am still going to stand up & face you, because we can't keep me under,
I've dealt with having my life compromised in many countless ways,
It's all the Sarcoma Warriors who are deserving of the highest praise,
All I can say is it saddens me so much, that my life got steered onto this path,
And I have tried to show Sarcoma I'm a formidable foe & look out for my wrath,
My battle now continues, because warriors just cannot lay down,
Now take a flipping hike; I just don't want you around!!!

I'm not doing too badly. I'm still only partial weight-bearing, about 50%. Range of motion is fair also. The biggest issue is a tendon. I don't remember what it's called, but it goes from one side of my foot, across the top, around the ankle, and up the side of my leg. It's really tight, painful, and pressing on the nerves.
I'm using the crutches some now, and I actually went downstairs on the w/end and did a load of laundry.
So, it's only a matter of time.

Time is a great healer: isn't that what 'they' say? In your case it's true...right now everything is tight, still swollen believe it or not, and there's probably pockets of water that have to be released back into your system. We just wish time would go faster..at least where our boo-boos are concerned!
Don't push yourself though, Hicks; there's no point in it, I found out the hard way, you'll only put yourself back another notch.
I've decided to join a free fitness place here for seniors...gym equipment, lovely atmosphere, and heated pool and sauna, although I don't much care for water that way. I want to begin strengthening...well..just about everything that's gone wobbly since my fall, and now that I can almost walk properly, I want to start exercising that knee on a bike or some such. I'll be evaluated before I start, so that'll help a lot.
See? Upward and onward!!
