SO much more snow this morning - gah!
Now some of you know I love winter - but I love a full winter, tons of snow and -20 and lower.

Having this on-again, off-again winter/spring crap is gross.

Natalka, we were supposed to get 1cm of snow overnight and when I got up this morning I asked my DH if we got any and he said, no, and I said, "Whew!"...and he laughed and said 1cm was only "this much" and I said, "yah, but then THAT has to melt before the other stuff can melt, etc, etc....".... I do not like the stuff one bit!!

Hope it leaves in a hurry. It's dang cold here this morning, -8, but with that wind-chill, -17; definitely not a spring jacket day like yesterday. Rats.

Still...I have to head over to WeightWatchers, then ohhhhh..okay, Michaels, HomeSense...I need to collect 'stuff' for our DD's b'day dinner next Friday...I'm doing it all in pink and black...tres chic, no?

A friend of mine made one of these, so I need to pick up some pink patterned and black patterned (little dots would be so cute!) to make small ones to hang from our light-fixture for her b'day...they're so darn cute!!
Then matching napkin holders.....etc, etc...

Hi everyone!
I have to get busy and mail some Easter cards, especially down to the States.
It's my nephew's 15th birthday. I remember getting a call at 7:30 am that day. It was my brother in tears saying, "Our baby is going to be born today. "
The baby was 2 months early.
He spent his first 2 months in critical care at the Children's Hospital in London. Ronald McDonald House was essential in his mum and dad being there with him.

Today he is 6' tall and weighs 180 lb. He plays waterpolo and is a whiz at computers. (And is his auntie's pride and joy!)

He is a thoughtful and loving young man.

GAH!!! Hon, I started watching them but they're SO inept in the kitchen...I think it was their spin-off where they took famous recipes and tried to fumble their way through them and cook or bake something!
WHO are those two dim-wits sleeping with, to get their own shows??!!!

Sorry...I hope you continue to enjoy them...just don't watch their newer shows....!!!

Otoh...there are two sisters who are quite famous for their cookbooks...omg, at this moment I can't remember their names, but I do have one of their cookbooks..what happened to their shows! They COULD cook!!

Yes, they're the pair I was thinking of...I have one of their books too and the recipes I've tried have turned out very nicely in spite of the substitutions they make to improve the healthy qualities of the dishes. Again, their tv shows were a little too pun-filled for me, but unlike the other pair, they know what they're talking about. Might be time to peek thru the book again..
