Good that you have the plan in place - but is that long of a wait usual in ON or in your city? It's quite long.

@Natalka , if I didn't "know" someone, my appointment alone would take almost a year to get!

I understand. Here, the provincial government has made it a really big priority over the last years to drastically reduce surgery wait times, and it's been worth it - shorter times both to get to a specialist, then to have procedures done.

avon, not sure about what kind of cake, the posting didn't say - it's from a Ukrainian site.
However, by the shape I would think maybe medivnyk - which is a traditional rich honey cake flavoured with orange, but that's just a guess.
