I give our players credit for keeping their cool and not engaging the ump with chatter or questioning his horrible calls.

Aaron went in @ the end of the inning, and spoke to the ump.
I think it helped. The calls have been much better.

Enjoy the rain, those of you getting it, but I know that the humidity can be gross if it stays hot.
We have sun going in and out, it's really irritating - especially for Vader who loves sunbathing, but she's given up because as soon as she gets comfy in a sunbeam, it goes away!
We may get rain later tonight.
Family baby news - we have a new great-niece, daughter of my husband's nephew and his wife; he's a priest in Croatia.
Her name is Carolina (pronounced CaroLEEna) - a real cutie with lots of dark hair.

Congrats to you and your family @Natalka .
It's STILL raining here. Thunder and lightening are sending Jake into hiding. He has to go out, but won't.
Hopefully, it'll blow itself out tonight, and we'll have a nice day tomorrow. I should check the weather channel.
BTW - way to go Jays.

Hello folks! We are applying for new passports. Complicated by the fact that we have no current photo ID with our new address. And our birth certificates are packed in.....which box was that?
I am Extremely happy that we are able to apply for passports after DH's medical journey. We will be using them for quick trips across the border, but DH always enjoys doing some grocery shopping there.
Thanks to all who have wished us well along the way!
Take care everyone!

Good evening!!
Another day spent basically on the sofa/recliner...boy was that a brilliant decision! The pain is still there, although when I attempt to walk now, I don't shriek in pain with every step. I consider that progress.
Next week, chiropractor Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, after-which we'll leave for camp for a busy weekend.
Everyone: have a wonderful weekend. Sorry it's a wet one for many, us included, but only drizzles; our lawns and gardens here sure needed it, though!

avon, it's good your husband is doing so well that travelling is okay for him.
You've just moved, so you have an excuse to have things in boxes - we moved 2 1/2 years ago, and we still have things in boxes. Obviously not necessary things, but there are things I miss - like ALL of my jewellery, for example - or if we needed personal docs, they are down in the basement somewhere...
Lynn, it's so good you are somewhat better - baby steps!
Found out today that things are not going well with my BIL, the one with esophageal cancer, he's 65. He had been doing quite well through rounds of chemo - but not now. He's back to having trouble swallowing, so not eating - he will have to have a stent put in, and then hopefully will go on a new biologic therapy (don't know anything about that). So,

Good morning every1.
Home at last. Yesterday, after church, went to the Jays game (they won 9 - 2 ), then out for dinner, and stayed at a friend's overnight, so, I'm tired today.
@Natalka and @Lynn49 , I hope the pain you're both suffering, eases up. Nat, sorry to hear about your BIL.
I hope you all have a great day. It's suppose to be miserable tomorrow with torrential rains.

Good morning!
Seems the weather can't make up its mind: sun or cloud. We've had a couple of dreary, drizzly days, so I vote sun!! Ohhhh...lol..which just came out! Yes, I'm magical.
@22hicks, I'm still in pain, although my pinched nerve pain seems to have been reduced to half. My lower back, however, is meh. We purchased a block of 11 appointments with this chiropractor (who my DH taught in highschool), and we may do it again; I just want to be able to walk more than 10 feet without having to stop because of pain!!! I'm also drinking this vile grape (not even close!) alkaline stuff because I'm acidic. A test strip I used has me at about 6.2 and heavens, what I read on line that can do to a body??! I'm drinkin' that crap!
@Natalka , sorry to hear of your brother-in-law's condition; I hope the new therapy is a success. Take care, rest, and I hope you feel better very soon, Hon.
I hope you all have a lovely week...stay safe!
In keeping with @dededi's mouse theme....
