Hello again...jeepers we sure do have heavy winds whipping around out there!! I did a quick trip to Fabricland for new machine needles and didn't want to go anywhere else today...it's cold!!

Nope, not in NY yet, Chives, and SO fortunate we don't leave here until the 9th! We drop our dear wee Jenny off at Gourmet Sue's and her hubby's home before we venture into the US.

Natalka, it's all pleasure! I've always wanted to see the Rockette's Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall and when I mentioned it to my hubby he said, "So...book it!" Sooo..I did! He wanted to see the show "Chicago" there also, so we have all those tickets in hand. I guess primarily it'll be a Christmas shopping trip..Macy's, Lord&Taylor, other shops, some sightseeing, perhaps only the 911 memorial...we're hitting places like Katz's Deli for lunch...stuff like that. Hubby said we might take in another show if we decide to while we're there. I'd love to see JerseyBoys, but hubby won't go because of the language used in it. We've seen Lion King, Phantom...not sure what else is worth seeing....

I truly feel sorry for anyone in the path of Sandy, but I can imagine also, the disappointment of tourists who are now prisoners in their hotels, with mass transit shut down. I guess plays are "dark" now, too...? We'd be stuck in NewJersey! But at least our hotel has 'stuff to do'...but still....so sad for everyone...

Natalka, how awful about the back-up you have to contend with! What a nuisance. I hope those 'rooter guys' get there quickly and clear it all up for you!!! Oh. And thanks for the snow. I told you to keep it for yourself! Please stop being so generous and sharing! Hmph. It's gone now, but stop it!

It looks like her last post was a couple of days ago....good heavens, I hope she's okay...she is near the storm area in S. Ont, right? Perhaps she's lost power? Now I'm worried.........

It is rare I "need" to be in, I go in for meetings etc but most of those can be scheduled via conference call - I mostly go in to check the mail lol

Yes, I remember Vee saying something about her Mom having some kind of an appointment and not wanting to go alone today because of the weather....I hope she checks in with us as soon as she gets home....

Oh, doesn't the darkness just take the wind out of your sails? We had such nice sunny weather last week...but now this wind is just raging out there...I guess it's just "grab a teddy-bear time" and wait it out....

We got a skiff of snow yesterday and overnight - it just recovered the grass and bushes, streets are clear, but get refrozen so they are icy for driving the next morning.
But it's overcast, and dull dull dull...

It's actually one ABOVE zero right now - yes, I'm in shorts!
