Disney store? WHERE???? lol. I thought they closed all of them in Ontario. Is it in the GTA?

lola, the GTA has about 5 or 6 Disney stores. Square One in Mississauga just renovated its like an enchanted forest sooo beautiful with tall trees and projectors etc. the Disney outlet is in Vaughn Mills mall, amazing prices on stuff.

oooooh, I'll have to make a trip eventually. lol. I never get to the GTA.

Maybe in the Spring, we'll have to make a mini vacation!

Just about to make clay ornaments with the kids. Yesterday we decorated sugar cookies. Tomorrow we're going to do our Gingerbread house.

There's never a shortage of Christmas crafts to do! Plus ornaments always make great add on gifts for the Grandparents.

Trying to decide between the Flour/Sugar/Salt/Water recipe or the Baking Soda/Corn Starch/Water recipe. hmmmmm.

Anyone do either? Any preference?

lola, its in barrie @ the georgian mall. not very big but lots of cute things.
for the dough, i did the flour/salt/water mix. worked out pretty well - used some cookie cutters and made some christmas shapes for the tree and did a big christmas tree and put their fingers in it to be the 'lights' when it dries and is painted. i didnt put mine in the oven (it said you could at 200 for a few hours) or just leave out to dry for a few days.

Well, looks like it's our turn for the teacher's to walk out this week... so I'll have to do some crafts with DS

Abby, they haven't given us a day... they sent home a letter saying they will be taking strike action this week but it didn't give a date.

Buses are canceled today so I'll have to find some fun crafts to do with DS. Guess I won't be wrapping presents today!

morning all.. im up early today.. hubby is on day shift this week. out the door at 6am.. kids were up with him and ready for school... how very strange.. so they'll be gone soon.. a days worth of work planned for me.. going to be a busy week... they predict snow.. haha ok whatever..
im sure i'll b in here periodically.. still need to take breaks.

Good Morning all! Had a lovely weekend, hubby took care of the kiddos on Saturday so I could bake and make candy. Sunday, his Aunt took the kids so we could spend some time together. Went to Costco, had lunch out, wrapped some presents, it was nice. Freezing rain here since last night, so we'll be hanging at home today. Besides, I have the sniffles AGAIN!

Good for you cab!! Sounds like it'll be really nice My first apartment was actually pretty sweet... 2 bedrooms, sunken living room, soaker tub, all inclusive... those were the days LOL. When I first moved to Ottawa though the ex and I lived in a tiny apartment above a Chinese restaurant lol. It was awesome though because the restaurant gave us a discount and they would bring our food right up to us, even though they didn't deliver!

So many restaurants and the movie theatre within couple blocks of this apartment. Chinese, pizza, sushi, oh yeah and the indian buffet where I will be like a couple times a month at very least lol.
