good morning everyone. hope everyone had a nice weekend. ours was really low-key. yesterday i woke up to some flowers and a bunch of crafts from the kids..then we went to a large greenhouse here and i got to pick out a new clematis for my garden...after we went to lunch at a local burger spot. in the afternoon we watched gnomeo and juliet. perfect

there was actual snow flurries on and off all day yesterday. sun today but its still only 3. brrrrr, i miss the +22!

i bought dd2 her big girl toddler bed on kijiji, pick it up tomorrow. i'm so sad to see this next step but also excited for her. she's gonna love her bed - tinkerbell and it has the tinkerbell canopy. that means i get to redecorate her bedroom.

Flurries here yesterday, too, but nothing stuck to the ground; sunny this morning but only going up to 13. Geez...I hope last week wasn't our summer and we're back to fall again!!

Quiet day here today....Dan, I actually watched about 8 minutes of the 3rd period last night, lol....hubby even watched the last period! Yep, we're really into hockey again! lol!!

We booked our hall this weekend! haha was not expecting to do it so soon, I wanted to see 9 other halls but the first one we saw blew us away!

dh was very excited last night with the leafs game - me, i fell asleep.

thats exciting vee. dh and i never got married...we've been together 13 years..got engaged after 1 year but my mom passed away and i just didnt have the heart to plan anything..then time slipped away. we've talked about it recently just having a family type thing at my inlaws farm.. maybe someday.

Time passes very very quickly. I can see how you would not want to plan anything especially after your mothers passing (sorry to hear that), that was one of my biggest concerns and motivators actually my father is is in his 70's and I would be devastated if something happened and he wasn't there to take part.

Oh, Vee...that just happened with a couple of mine....the groom's grandmother 'tried', fought to stay with them for the wedding in June, but sadly passed away 2 weeks ago....I was so happy that my Mom got to see our DD married...I hope your Dad stays well...it helps to have something like a wedding to keep one going!!

I'm still kicking around lol. Did a bit of running around this morning and had the butter chicken poutine at new york fries. Wasn't bad was def tasty. Tonight my aunt is taking me and my cousins out for my 40th birthday. Oh man I turned 40.
