Still freezing out, but it should warm up today, and stay in the minus teens for a few days.

Son coming over this evening to bring a router and set up wifi, he didn't want to be a bother to come for supper another night - well, duh, of course I convinced him. So yay, three nights in a row; I'm in mama heaven!

hello everyone, quiet time now, had a wonderful get together lunch with coworkers, some already retired, some very close to it. Still cannot believe we stayed 3 hours in there, nice of them not to kick us out! lol

Cold here today too, but -11, which is fine, minus in the single digits for the next few days...can spring be getting closer!?
Back to Media Day with the Broncos..then Seattle and Richard Sherman.....I LOVE this time of year!!!!

Man, it's cold! -22 today with a nice big wind, but at least the sun was shining, which makes the day happier.
Hubby and I went to our grandson's classroom this morning to read a few books to him and his little friends, and omg, he was the cutest! He brought us chairs, put a little seat cushion on mine, grandpa was on the little sofa....so sweet and thoughtful...
Then I went for my weigh-in, I am +2lbs, but I misbehaved on the weekend, so no worries, can't expect much after one day on a diet.
Then met a friend for lunch at Milestones, had the Seafood Salad, came home and looked it up on line: 720 calories! Oh, well...
I also have a pot-luck on Wednesday and believe me, no one is bringing anything under 1000 calories per tablespoon!!!

Such was my world today...hope everyone had a lovely day, sweet dreams and good night....
THE SUPERBOWL IS ON IN 6 SLEEPS!!!

I was wondering how long you were on your diet for, that you had gained 2lbs. until I read that's it was for 1 day lol.
With all the meals and get together you have planned for this week, maybe you should just enjoy this week, and start your diet next week . (Just a suggestion) so that you won't be so hard on your self this your first week of diet.
Enjoy your day, especially tomorrow, your pot luck sounds like ours, the more calories the better .
