Oh, to be able to open the windows again and let all that fresh air in....and eventually the smell of freshly mowed grass?! Is there anything better than that??!! But it seems so far away right now.......

i guess its up the person wearing it.. if she can move/walk/dance/sit comfortably then by all means go for long. but if she's used to short..
with extra material your looking at possible added weight. could make her tired faster. hard to move around. etc.
can you post a pic so we can help more.

It also depends on where her prom is too IMO. If she's going to the garden party, you might want to shorten it a bit so that's not hard for her to walk across grass, cause her to trip etc. Has she tried it on and walked around in it?

    Interesting conversation I had today.

    Person notices my Kippah

    "Oh are you Jewish?"

    "Yes I'm an orthodox Jew"

"Oh Orthodox. So you're not a real Jew then"

Agree with all above, also how high are the heels she's wearing? A higher heel can tolerate a longer skirt. Also, a fuller skirt generally "looks" longer (if I'm describing that correctly), so you might want to take it up a bit. Naturally it depends on your DD's level of comfort wearing it. It shouldn't touch the ground of course, but neither should it touch the front of her shoes...it should just brush her instep and not 'crease' when she walks in it. If you're unsure, a tea-length is sweet, also!

And ITA..a pic would help... Aren't we snoopy?!
I just washed two formals of mine to take to a consignment store...even if I get a few bucks, it's better than hanging them in my closet.....

Morning friends! I can't believe I've been up for half an hour already, my sleep schedule has been wonky lately I hope this doesn't become a normal thing, I can't function without 8 hours LOL

More spring cleaning today, might as well tackle the whole house while I'm in the mood to do it!

Thank you all for your replies..i knew someone would have some dress knowledge to help me out,lol
So in answer to some of the comments:
I'll try and get a pic and post it.
She has walked in it (in the kitchen only) but it definitely touches the ground and sits/floats on the ground by a little bit - so sounds like it needs a little bit of taking up.
She has purchased her first real pair of high heels - i keep telling her that a ½inch heel on a pair of winter boots doesn't count!- and what did she go for....4" high sparkly shoes. Now don't get me wrong they are pretty but 4"...oh my...the girl is a tad clumsy at the best of times, lol!!
I can't remember where her prom is but think it may be city hall or a museum hall

Thanks so much ladies - I thought it needed an adjustment but was second guessing myself.

LOL. These people never cease to amaze me. Idiots
I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.
