Trying to stay positive today.
On Saturday I got a call from my Aunt who had breast cancer last year, telling me that her cancer is back, but in her lungs this time and possible her head.
She starts her treatment today.
The test she did on Thursday to see if it has spread to her head will take 2 business, so there a possibility than we might get the result this evening if not then we'll get it tomorrow.
I'm trying to stay positive, but as it's the second time since last year that she has had cancer, I'm worried.
Did a lot of praying yesterday, I'm doing a lot of praying today.

Just came home YEY!!! Only worked 11 hours today.

Just going to quickly eat dinner then shower and hoping I can check my emails and then head to bed by 8 or 9 the latest ........ I want to catch up on my sleep!!!!

Natalka, Have you tried looking at places where people are going to be away for a while and need their houses "babysat"? That might give you more time to look and it could be quite economical. You could check at the university to see if any professors might need someone to take care of their homes while they are on sabatical.

Our house is up for sale and we have had to "de-personalize" it - according to the realtor and a home stager. We rented a storage unit and even our cereal is in a box in the back of our car!!! We have to have tailgating parties to have breakfast! DH even packed away his coffee maker. We have an offer on another home which is conditional on the sale of our house. We've had 2 good showings! Cross your fingers for us, friends!

my fingers are totally crossed for you Avon..
im feeling so much better.. ive been lucky the last few years.. as i make sure we eat well.. i try to take care of myself.. its usually lack of sleep that causes me to get sick.. gotta thank my kid for that.
ive been able to ward off most colds within 1-2 days with a secret formula.. works every time.

We're looking into absolutely everything! Yes, we've also seen postings for homesitting, but they are all furnished - and we have stuff (even though it will be pared down!).

But, no ON for us - we have to stay where my husband's very good job is! We're looking outside the city, but those small towns have prices just as big as the city, since most everyone commutes.
