Oh! I forgot to mention this!!
We had an earthquake two nights ago!! Hubby and I were watching tv, and it sounded like an explosion...it only lasted a few seconds, but our dining-room mirror was tilted by the thing! We heard that there was another one in the middle of the night, but we didn't hear it....strange, I didn't know we were anywhere near any earthquake areas! It was magnitude 3.1 for one of them...I thought it was blasting in a mine, but then realized it was louder and lasted longer than that...who'd have thought?!

AND, our SIL's brother and his wife didn't have a BOY, like everyone figured they'd have (only boys on their side of the family), but I said that I felt she was having a girl...just a feeling I had. So what did she have today? A GIRL! I just knew it for some reason, even though the deck was stacked against it....So Lambie-Pie will be sporting a pink silk ribbon bow or pink knitted flower near her ear! I just finished the "hudson bay" little sweater for it...it's SO cute!!!!

Once in a looooong while, I crave chocolate, and usually Hubby goes out and picks up a couple of bars for me..this time he laughed and said, "There's Halloween chocolates in the freezer from last year..." The BabeRuth and Crunch ones aren't too bad with a little thawing, but those Butterfinger bars? Not so much...not my favourites, either.

Well, there's no lack of excitement in your home.
That knitted lamb sounds so cute, esp. with a pink bow or flower.
Congrats on your guess, and the baby.

I thought I'd throw in a few chocolates for you too.

Even a small earthquake can be scary. I'm glad it wasn't bigger, and there was no damage.
I've been in two; one here @ the house, a 3.8, which shook everything, and loud. The other was while I was at work, years ago, in Toronto, @ the hospital. I was only on the 5th floor, and I could feel the whole building swaying. While standing, or walking, every1 was loosing their balance. We felt drunk. Even the caddy with patient charts rolled across the nursing station. Don't remember it's strength though.
    I can't imagine a really large one.

I am trying to find something to eat that doesn't make me feel ill. This treatment is very hard on me. It is frustrating to endure this journey sometimes. I feel so low sometimes.

It is true to say that Cancer sometimes wears you down in more ways than one,
It is always there with you & can be the *thing* that is ruining your fun,
Stiff upper lip & be positive & strong,
Wouldn’t it be better if this in-congruent would just move along?
Sometimes I find myself about 20 stops past being annoyed,
I am keeping my winning attitude up front & deployed,
One must let that the bad times be expressed to conjure up the good,
There are no rules about just how you should,
It always works out & the angst always passes into a better frame of mind,
It’s just that cancer sure isn’t fair & so far from being kind.

It must be so terribly difficult to keep that straight upper lip when all it wants to do is quiver and burst into sobs. I'm sorry for what you're having to endure, Loocie; no, it's not a fair fight, nor is it fair that it exists at all...I hope and pray God gives you the strength to continue to wage this war.....

Well, that little Lambie-Pie is all done, knitted flower by her ear, 'hudson bay' sweater on...and I'm working on a knitted afghan now...then the quilt...I'll see how they turn out; she may just get the lamb!

Hope you're all staying warm today; I put the heat on in the house, it was down to 64 again and there's such a wind out there again today.

DD phoned and they've invited both parents over to see photos she took in Mexico on their tv..what an invention that is! haha!! I'm sure it will involve illegal food and drink...Oh. And on the first day there, she fell (literally) victim on those narrow cobblestone streets; I hope she goes for x-rays, she said she would. Eventually. So excited to see the photos of here, San Miguel and the other 6 girls!

    Have a great day, everyone!!!

Must be an old map Midnightly when they still thought the world was flat.
