It's looking very droopy and cloudy out there this morning, but 'the kids' are taking DH and I out for my belated birthday dinner, so I've invited them over for cocktails and appys before we go out, so now I have to pop into a grocery store for some ingredients and cointreau for our cosmos..

I hope everyone is having a relaxing day today and that it's sunnier where you are!!

Alone for the Jays game tonight, may have to have some warm in a snifter with a nice coffee on the side to watch the game. This doesn't constitute drinking alone if I cheers each player at the plate...or does it!

No. In my experience it certainly does not constitute drinking alone if you're accompanied by the tv or a good book. At least...I hope it doesn't!
And besides...what's wrong with drinking alone? Who made up that rule?! Hmph.

Well, I'm making Cosmopolitans prior to going out to dinner with the kids...baked brie in filo, cheese green onion mixture on toasted baguette slices, candied kielbasa...then out for dinner...
