Hello folks! This day is a very sad one.
Yesterday, our one dog had to have some surgery and we took the other one in for tests. As it turned out we had to put our one dog down. Our poodle is recovering from cyst and teeth removal and heartbreakingly, our schnauzer, MAX is no longer with us. It was all such a shock. I'm so upset. He was a little turkey but we loved him. He was with us for 4 years after having been dumped at the local off-leash dog park and he had such a spark of mischief! But yesterday, we had to say good-bye to him. We will surely miss him.

Little prayers for our family would be appreciated.

Oh Avon, I'm so very sorry. I'm crying right now for you, and your family.

Schedule change for Thursday's finale

Because of pending inclement weather, tomorrow night's series finale between the Blue Jays and the Orioles has been pushed up to a 12:05pm start.

Good morning, everyone...October sure ushered in some cold temps this morning: 6, climbing all the way up to 11. DD's flying home from Mexico today...it's a lot colder around here now, than when she left a week ago...Have a great day, everyone!

Oh, you'd better believe it, Hicks! I suggested to Hubby that he pick up one of her winter coats on the way to the airport, but he said, "The van will be warm."...lol...guys. Go figure.

AND, our SIL's brother and his wife didn't have a BOY, like everyone figured they'd have (only boys on their side of the family), but I said that I felt she was having a girl...just a feeling I had. So what did she have today? A GIRL! I just knew it for some reason, even though the deck was stacked against it....So Lambie-Pie will be sporting a pink silk ribbon bow or pink knitted flower near her ear! I just finished the "hudson bay" little sweater for it...it's SO cute!!!!

Once in a looooong while, I crave chocolate, and usually Hubby goes out and picks up a couple of bars for me..this time he laughed and said, "There's Halloween chocolates in the freezer from last year..." The BabeRuth and Crunch ones aren't too bad with a little thawing, but those Butterfinger bars? Not so much...not my favourites, either.
