(Such as something you don't think it exists, something you've looked high and low for and can't find, or something that you wish existed etc.)

this is more just for fun and it would be cool to see if we can make unicorn wishes come true! =)

A hubby that puts his socks IN the laundry hamper AND a hubby that remembers to HANG his towel when he is finished with it... not in a ball on the floor. (These are his 2 annoying habits)

But, if my buddy could find it a wine themed butter dish.... that would be amazing

I hope this does not offend anyone and if I'm breaking any rules by posting this please remove it I will not be offended in the least...my son has been taking part in the Children's Wish Walk for Wishes since 2007 when he got his wish to go on a Disney Cruise. In total he has raised over $25000 since then on his own (with a little help from Mom and Dad of course) by knocking on doors in our neighborhood and asking friends and family. This year he set himself a goal of $8000, he put together a live auction and combined with his canvassing he is at $7338.52 this year, and the walk is on Sunday. He plans to spend all day tomorrow out knocking on doors until he gets his goal. If any of you are looking for a charity to support this year every little pledge will bring him that much closer to his goal. Here is his online link for anyone that is interested. Thank you ladies

DBF needs to get off his wallet, so we can get on living our lives! He still thinks he's in his early 20s and says, "what's the rush?" I kindly remind him that in a few months he'll be closer to his 40s than his 20s lol!

I would love anything you have canned, I have just gotten into it and have been doing a lot of 'trading' with other canners! I made Dill Pickles, Bruschetta, and green tomato chow.

Yes to salsa and / or applesauce......really there are very few home made treats that we don't like!

I don't mind wool, mostly just like mitts, scarves (would love a circle scarf) and hats. Not a fan of sweaters etc.

I use a Kindle so don't buy books anymore - but a credit for Kindle books would be cool.

Ok buddy - do you prefer showers or baths?

I usually shower but LOVE the rare occasions that I let myself indulge in a bath. I got a Bath Bomb from LUSH called Space Girl and LOVE them!!!1

My son likes animales but much prefers his trucks & cars.
He is also trying to convince me to make him a brother... though he gets a bit confused and just suggests we bring home his friends and other kids from daycare.

My kids are teens, so animals aren't a top priority. I have always wanted a north American House Hippo as well. We are getting a new Bernese Mountain dog Puppy in a month so we love anything Berner related.

i like action, drama, comedy & some chick flicks - no horror or scary movies for me
Favourite movie is Keeping Mum (among lots of others!!)

I dont need any adult movies as hubby downloads lots. Though would love kids movies (as I put on my wishlist ) as hubby doesnt download those

hahahahha, to the Adult movies. It has to be a good movie to keep me interested. I like comedies, dramas and some suspense.

I have to tell you all a little secret.. for me to be on this train is kinda like.. ya know when you have a bunch of family or friends that always do things without you.(whether bad timing or not enough time or funds). and your like. i just wish i could do it once. and then finally they all show up at your hosue and personally invite you along on their next journey.. your standing there saying 'really? you picked me?".. ya know that feeling. thats how i feel. like its surreal. so happy to be on it. like honored. ok im done rambling.

Me neither, we are so broke this week it's not funny, we have been waiting for a cheque from our late dog Zoe's medical claims for over 6 WEEKS now and hubby thought we had gotten it and paid his dad back $600 we owed for different vet bills. Leaving us with $6 til next thursday lol. BUT we have enough stockpile here to not have to spend anything and have taken it on as a challenge - we could have borrowed that money back but we just would have spent it and now when that cheque finally arrives we will have that money for ourselves. Note to anyone dealing with PetSecure - it takes a lot longer than the 5 days they say to get your funds back when you submit a claim. They ALSO just left us waiting and not knowing for 2 weeks that the claim had been processed but they were witholding the funds because we didn't pay Sept. premium - UMMMMM, we cancelled the policy because she DIED August 8th you numbskulls. Apparently when I called to cancel, the twit on the other end didn't cancel it. UGH - anyways enough ranting here. It's sorted out now but we've been tight on money ever since. OH, and just like human medical claims they don't pay out the whole amount of anything - we submitted over $1000 and are only getting $600 back.

reminds me of a few years ago and DD wanted a YELLOW iPod - can only get them online of course - and they offered free engraving on it - so yeah of course I added it - Happy 12th Bithday Sami - no R in Birthday. She has never let me forget it, but when we had to send it back for an problem with it, and they said they would replace it I was going to get them to correct the mispelling but dd insisted on keeping it the way it was - it was special-er that way

I just found out that my mom has to have heart surgery on Monday morning, so I will be heading up to Ottawa this weekend to be there and go with her.

Now all of a sudden my mouse pointer is ALWAYS a hand and it will not let me select text (I have been copying and pasting all my buddies responses on here to a word doc.) Any idea why this has happened? It's only on IE, Firefox and Chrome are fine.

Oh my... Just found DD's laundry from yesterday and we must have been tired cuz just saw the bottom of her pants are so dirty from sitting in those restaurant high chairs...

Absolutely!!! Can it be a "Special" Coffee?? It is winter, after all! Heck, if you have time, you can even come for dinner! Just don't ask me to play a round of pool, I'm too short even with a cue to reach anything, and end up using the rake for most shots. It's my own version of "best ball".. (I do that in Golf too... btw )
