    My doctor says my weight is fine but I am 30 lbs heavier then 2 years ago and it was fine then. What am I to think??

    Well there is a range where it is fine, for 5'7" the weight ranges from 123 - 168 depending on frame!

    Well no wonder she says every weight I am at is fine!! So weird! I am almost 5'8" and I was 120lbs now 150lbs. I feel gross and all my clothes are too small She just thinks I am nuts and says I am fine

    well 120 at 5'8 would have been slightly underweight according to their 'ideal charts' but not everyone is the same right, but its crazy how much they range

    I think the "fine" weight for most folks isn't one set point, but it's where you feel comfortable and satisfied with you weight, and can do your daily activities with ease (or at least relative ease, depending on other factors!) plus a decent amount of energy

    Just took a quick troll through this thread... I hope we either keep it going or start a new one in the same vein for New Year's as by then I'll have my LO and be able to join in and get support. I'm totally looking forward to it as my body doesn't do well with the added weight; I am getting stiff and sore in ways that I only ever experienced years ago when I had ballooned up to 180lbs (normal weight for me is about 120-130)

    I'm going to be teaching cake decorating courses soon and have to practice my skills. I'm doing a picture tutorial for it too so I have to do a few real cakes and TONS of icing. Gonna have to find people to give them too. At least they'll be pretty.

    Also baking season is upon us and I do a lot of sweets.. keep from licking the bowl, right?
