I too shall wait until morning to check. I'm sure it'll be suspended. But so what - sign up for a new card, right? I spent all of my points shortly after earning them, so there's nothing for them to take back.

I was able to login and see my balance, everything seems intact
I wonder if they are targeting certain transactions
If they suspend my account I'd be ticked off as well

should they not take the points away rather than cancel the card altogether? Did the cashier add your coupons as 2001 or 2002?

I only bought 1 Nivea. They're $3.79 everywhere I look

They do not cancel the card. They suspend it which requires you to call them and find out why it was suspended. OP, did you purchase the Nivea on 20X points day?

I just picked up 12 Nivea soap bars today using the coupons, the cashier who was also a "cashier manager" was absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! I never shop at SDM because they are terrible with coupons (previous experiences and stories I've heard), I was just there dropping some stuff off at the post office and decided to take a look around. As soon as I got to the register and pulled out the coupons she looked as if she was going to eat me alive! She said "You can't use those, it makes them free and that's not possible." After having a whole argument about how the company will reimburse them, she started attacking me about how it wasn't even the right product. I pointed out that it clearly stated "...on Nivea soft product." She finally rang everything in (she didn't even ring the coupons at $3.00 she rang them in at $2.99), and I even ended up paying tax at the end ($4.66, thought I wasn't supposed to pay tax?!?!)! Anyway, I will NEVER shop their again unless its a SUPERB deal I'm not able to PM at Walmart, it's not even worth it for the SDM points any more! I feel for everyone who has had terrible experiences at SDM!!

sorry to hear about that happened to you....for me i think that shoppers cashiers are no more friendly any more...they are treating customers like zellers use to do.secondly soap price is good at walmart 3 pack for 2.97 from now i think we should all go to walmart and give our bussiness to that store.and more over its shoppers policy if the coupon price exceeds then the actual item price they rang the coupon as item price but in this case thats only a penny...oh my God..

if they(SDM) dont like people using coupons and getting stuff for free...they should change their logo free feels good.moreover i was at shoppers drug mart #1466...and cashier,she seems to be unhappy when i use coupons..she said that she dont have time for all this..and more over she said she goes to sobeys or longos for her shopping because she cannot wait in line while people are doing these things on other stores...i was stuck i was looking at her how she was talking to me as couponing is a crime and i replied i do it as a fun thank you AND HAVE A NICE DAY..

I think you should get bonus points for having to go through that at checkout.
If they don't want you to get bonus points with a free item then they should configure their computers so it doesn't allow it.
Not give the points and then back-pedal.

Could you return the products for money back? Shoppers will get the money from the coupons, so you should get full value for the product.

Wow, what BS. Somebody should forward this thread to their facebook page. It's sickening how they gouge their customers and how crap they treat them.

After this holiday redemption if they don't clean their act up I'll NEVER shop there again.
