So sorry to hear

It's so hard to deal with such a stressful situation and I totally understand. Hope all went well today! Kosmo is definitely in my thoughts.

Kosmo is home!!!!!
They were able to remove the mass, it was two and a half inches by 2 and a quater inches big. It was self contained, not involved with any of organs. It was however involved with some of his muscles. So they had to stretch his muscles and he has quite a few stitches in. He still has an arm catheter in, just in case we need to give him some pain meds in the night, he also has a pain med patch on for the next five days.
Tomorrow he goes into the vet to get the catheter taken out and for a check-up.
Currently he is roaming around the apartment, we are keeping him out of the bedroom, as there are too many high things he can jump on. So one of us is going to sleep out in the living room for the next three days. He's already pooped and peed. We've been feeding him wet food, teaspoons at a time.
The other two cats are staying at a neighbours apartment for two weeks while he recovers (they play fight too hard, so they need to be seperate from Kosmo until his muscles heal more).
I am so thankful.
They won't know what caused the mass until next week, it will be sent off to the lab on monday. Once we know that, we will know what steps to take, like if it is something that will come back again, or if it was just a one time thing. For the time being we have our kitty back.
He is currently laying down in a large shoe box that I put a worn shirt in, he loves to sleep in shoe boxes.
I am overjoyed. Thank you everyone.
