Patty, THIS has been my vision since the start of this way of eating thing...I always pictured that one pound of pure fat dripping off my heart so that it could beat more easily...I've probably seen too many medical shows, lol, that have shown what fat looks like inside a person and with heart problems in our family I feel that's my vulnerable spot.
I'm not eager to weigh in this morning, but when I'm fully awake to face the music I will.
All my own fault this week, but taking these breaks was probably what kept me on this diet over the past year; I know I could have lost those 50lbs sooner, but then again...likely not if it meant I couldn't take these breaks...

Okay...I'll cop to it: +2.8 lbs
Which is WAY better than I thought it would be, considering I had pretty much had no intention
of sticking to my diet this past weekend!! Yay, me!! LOL!!
Tomorrow, back on it.
Today....lunch out with hubby and DD!! Although I won't go nutsy, there's really nothing
VERY dietetic in this Italian-based restaurant, and since I can't eat salads.....I'll try to behave.
As much as possible...
Now.
How about everyone else???

Well I guess the chocolate did me in, serves me right, they are all gone now.
But you know what, I don't care, I have the confidence now to know I am right back on the wagon. No looking back just looking forward to doing some closet cleaning and shopping for smaller spring clothes. In about a month, I figure I will be down another size jeans, looking forward to that. Although I will never be in the single digits, I dont have the body type, I would be happy if I hit 10 or 12 in the end of this journey. That could be my long term goal for New Years.

I am pleased to announce that I am the same.
With Valentine's Day and my Anniversary this past week, I was not a very good girl the entire week, so I will look at this with happy eyes because I may not have lost, but I did not gain!

LOL...looks like Valentine's Day done us in, Ladies!
Patty....you feel just the same as I do...I've done this the past year and it's kept me on this diet...confident enough to fall off, confident enough to get back on. Thing is....losing just a pound or two a week means that when I DO fall off, I don't suddenly gain back the 10 lbs I may have lost quickly on some other "magical" diet.
So...as the saying goes: SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE. Or the WAR...in my case!
