thanks walks, she just keeps getting cuter every day, but omg WHAT AN ATTITUDE! SHE...is the boss around here. She jumps of the top step (there are 3 steps up to the bedroom in the rv) and onto Marley...sooo funny Marley knocks her to the ground and they roll around, then Marley walks away. Marley will be sitting on the back of the sofa looking out the window and Maggie will whine to get on the couch. I will put her on the seat and she climbs, yes CLIMBS up the blanket on the back of the couch to sit beside Marley!!! she follows Marley everywhere. She's Marley's best buddy too...so cute. I'm so happy.

thanks Nat, she is definitely a healthy little girl now, just need to make sure that last spider bite that's been giving us trouble since we got her clears up. She goes back to the vet on March 1 for her 3rd set of shots, she will get her "I CAN NOW ENTER CANADA" shot then. After that, one more set around the 25th of March and she'll be good for 5 years (I think). Mel is teaching her to say "EH" so she won't feel ike such an alien when she enters Canada

Maggie and Marley are best buddies now, amazing how quick that happens. On one of our walk a few days ago, this guy from the park wanted to pet Maggie, so he went over to pick her up and started to bark at him (that's her new thing lately, she barks at everything, then runs like hell, ) after she let out a bark, Marley came over and stood in front of her, protecting her I guess. The guy just laughed, and didn't bother to pick her up, he didn't want to upset Marley Maggie watches Marley's every move. Yesterday Mag's was on the sofa and Marley was on the floor, Marley went over beside my dh's chair and Mag's could no longer see her, so she got up and moved to the other side of the sofa, stretching her neck to make sure she could see what Marley was up to. Once she saw that Marley was just lounging on the floor, she went back to her spot and fell asleep again.

I was commenting to dh this morning that Maggie had slept through the entire night for the first time. She just woke up, and she is so sick. Last night when I took them for their walk, she didn't want to walk and I had to carry her a lot of the way, and she felt warm. Her tummy and her ears. But this morning she is sitting up, but she is wobbling and she is really hot, both her tummy and her ears, you can feel the heat coming off her. And she is whining, even when she is sleeping Know I'm really worried that she may be having some effects from the last spider bite that the vet has been trying to treat that won't go away I'm really scared. If she doesn't seem to get any better within the next hour or so, I'm going to take her over to the emergency vets. My poor little girl, she has been through so much!!!

Good Morning everyone, I had to leave Maggie at the vets. She is a very sick little girl. They did more testing and the bite that wouldn't go away was a scorpion bite. It seems that some of the toxin has made it's way into her nervous system and is causing havoc with her. The poor little girl was on an IV with meds in it when I left. I cried all night and am praying for her. I'm shocked how she can be so great then all of a sudden be so sick. The vet said they will see how she is doing today and we will go from there.

This is surprising and sad news. Scorpion! Boy that previous owner did NOT take care of the puppies at all.

I am hoping for good news later today.
