I had problems with the Ritz too. Overall, I am impressed with this app. The Ritz scanned at 1 pt but that is the only issue I have had so far. I love this app!!!!

Really? I scan stuff at home for a few minutes here and there but mostly get points from bonus items and check ins. In 1.5 months I already have $50 in amazon cards. And I really don't spend lots of time on it.

I drive a half hour to work and back every day so I pull over and check in at every grocery store I pass on the way, so that is usually about 60 points there and back. You don't have to actually be inside the store to check in. There is also free WIFI in some stores so I will go for a walk and scan 50 items throughout the store. Doing the specials definately racks up the points.

750 to 5000 for a $5 GC is quite the jump! They increased the scan value to 5 pts instead of 1 and also the value of checking in at a store is now 25 instead of 20. Still though - this app has been getting worse and worse over time. I know they can't afford to give out so many gift cards for nothing, but at the same time, I can't be spending time scanning and checking in for nothing either! Waste of time will be deleted from my phone.

I have been saving my points because I couldn't decide what I wanted to cash them in for. Suddenly I went from having enough for $40 worth of products became enough for not quite $10 of products. I guess I shouldn't have waited.....

I too thought the increase was ridiculous when i received the email notice! Log in to freshpoints only to see it went from 750 to 5000 to redeem at the minimum! Even swagbucks doesnt require 5000 to redeem for $5 amazon GC! And if anything , swagbucks even decreased their points value for paypal redemption! I too wont be wasting my time with freshpoints and will be deleting the app from my phone.

I cashed out for a $5 Amazon card just yesterday afternoon. Thank goodness!! That's not really fair of them to make the switch like that without warning. It would have been nice if they sent out an email something along the lines of "On May 15th the redemption rates will be increasing". That way the loyal members would have had a chance to cash out their due rewards.
