If it happens again there will be an email to head office, but right now I am happy to just avoid their store. I can easily price mach them somewhere else and I do not agree with their limits on price matching anyways and I know that is a rule from head office.

Sounds like a full day of quality time spent with your mom, great stuff.

I try to go to Walmart Thursday evenings, I find you can get the current weeks flyers prices but the new flyer items are already scanning so I get the best of both!!

I don`t have a particular shopping day.Our closest stores are 20 minutes away so I try to work everything into one trip whenever I have appointments. We only have FB and Zehrs and a regular Walmart so am very limited.

I prefer shopping on Saturday morning. Usually no one is in the store when it opens. As puppy doesn't know what weekends are- we are up anyway !

DH was feeling a bit better a took apart the dishwasher for me- HE FIXED IT!!! BIG YEAH!!! He had to ice his ribs in between the taking it out and the putting it back in. Also called his insurance. He pays privately for sick/disability/death insurance as a contractor. They said that they would send the forms and would cover last week and this weeks pay- no problem! Also YEAH!!!! Given that we have been so frugal this month- the money can go towards the finishing on our basement.

    Oh and I voted!

INSANE: Made that sloppy joe recipe from Heavenly Homemakers. It was really good. I used Heinz ketchup and if anything, I found it a bit sweet. DS LOVED it and told his daddy not to eat it all: lunch leftovers.LOL! (He is rather cheeky for a 3 yr old.) Also made the breakfast cookies on her website. They are great. They are like a muffin disguised as a cookie. I did make an addition though. I didn't have rolled oats, just cut instant. So I added 1/2c of applesauce to be sure that there was enough moisture. Yummy! I have frozen some in individual packets for the grab and go snacking. Thanks for mentioning the website!

We rented a house in Orlando Florida
So the rental is paid for but I would like to pad the account a bit more for travel and activities
it's great because we can cook most of our meals.

Fun! I love Florida, they have the BEST mini golf courses! My Mom rented a place and they saved a ton by making meals instead of restaurants everyday.

I normally shop 7:30am at Wal-Mart, the place is empty, fully stocked (normally) and the cashiers never have a problem PMing or doing my coupons so early. It's my calm quiet time before I get home to a roudy 2 year old.
