Finally a room for *us*!

I am so proud of the work we have done on our bedroom. Wish there was a before pic. Basically there was nasty woos panels (now white) and kind of a light barf color on the walls that are now turquoise (I'm not kidding lol).

We also treated ourselves to a new bed (60% at Leons so we got a king size memory foam Sealy Posturpedic for $599 and a free memory foam pillow!).

The bedroom set is Ikea but wheeled and dealed on Kijiji and got it for $250.

The bedding is from Quilts Etc. I originally had my eye on one from Bed Bath and Beyond but the quilt alone was $219 plus tax! We got 2 queen pillows, 2 king pillows, a quilt and two quilted shams, and a sheet set all for less than that.

Anyway, I am very proud of our new room as we put a lot of work into our kids' rooms but always neglected ours. Plus, we ordered our bed 6 weeks ago and just got it today so we had been sleeping on a futon for 6 weeks lol.

We just decided on some major changes in our life though, after a fairly difficult year of illness and emotional stresses. We are moving to London. It's a good thing. But it's bitter sweet as well, because we have made this house into a home and it's peaceful and welcoming here and I really feel God here. But He will come with us to London too

Thanks to all my SC friends who have kept me in their prayers or thoughts. It makes me feel really good and special to know you are thinking about me.

sweet! we have that bed too only a king in black brown. now i think were going to go back to two singles. we have the mountable nightstands though. and our freaking dressers are in the walkin.. anyway love the color its so calming...

Haha isn't that the way it is eh... We moved in here 2.5 yrs ago and the kids rooms were the first we did! Then kitchen, then living room. And last month we did ours and this month we decided we're moving *facepalm* lol

I used to live in London & my parents are still close by. I loved it, such a nice city and love the malls
