i have a feeling their prices are similar to walmart when items are not onsale.. might vary a slightly difference (not everything matched price for price but within the 50c more or less ratio) it's going to be all about the sales for the deals

I don't think any of us have seen a retailer yet where everything in the store is cheaper than anywhere else in town. (They wouldn't be in business for long if their profit margins were that low.) I'm looking forward to more choice a.nd hopefully some great sales from time to time

every grocery/department store that is geared towards being a budget store has roughly the same pricing for items. a few cents here, a few cents there.

how many times have we all looked at walmart flyer, stating a super special price for something and it is 3 cents higher than one of their competitors?

No vegetables.

No meats.

Carts cannot be removed from store to parking lot.

Have 6-8 bags and be 80 years old? You figure it out ! Carts cannot be taken to parking lot !

Numerous debit cards not being read by debit card readers.

Long lineups at customer service.

my local one had lot cart returns, and i did take my cart to the car.

i don't think they are doing fresh groceries yet. maybe when they start to roll out bigger stores in a couple of years?

apparently, the zellers locations were dinky compared to a normal sized target in the states, so they did some cutting to still have reasonable offerings in each dept. that they did include in these quasi-targets.

i still like it tho!

I compared regular prices to items at babiesrus and target was more I.e moby wrap a bru is 59.99 and at target 62.99

Shopping cart wheels are automatically locked by sensors when you attempt to exit Targets doors to the mall.

Watched an elderly lady with a large box (obviously purchased in the housewares department and which was too big and heavy for her to carry) trying to push it out to her car with her feet.

Since I had 6 bags I was unable to help her so I went to the customer service desk to see if she could get assistance from a staff person and I was told they do not provide that service. Their suggestion was that she should go back in the store and buy a bundle buggy.

OBVIOUSLY THIS STORE RETAINED A LOT OF THE ZELLER MANAGEMENT STAFF.

AVOID THIS MILTON STORE AT ALL COSTS !!!

That's terrible they should have at least have a shopping cart where you can put a loonie or a quarter in and be able to take to the parking lot.If I was that elderly lady I would have gone to customer service and said I want to return what I bought and get my money back.

Their breakfast sandwiches are healthier than Mickie D's, but both are unhealthy I have one Timmie's by my apartment and a Mickie D's across from Maxi, but I rarely visit either 'cause a) ewww!, and b) too poor to buy tea.

I won't be shopping at Target. I'll price-match their flyer when it gets here, but I'm not at all interested in the store itself.

I AM interested in what exclusive items are sold in the States. I've never been there so I don't know what this means!

Target's not interested in hiring older staff that are set in their ways.. they want new, fresh people fresh out of university who they can mold into the kind of employees that they want them to be. No my dear, this is not Zellers. Those discourteous employees are all Target's doing. Welcome to the new normal.

Agree. From what I heard, Target forced Zellers staff of all levels to resubmit their resumes for hire. The Orillia location (from what my sister told me) doesn't have any of the old Zellers staff there; none were hired! which is why some people (who think that it's unfair for a tycoon to come and fire everyone) won't shop there too, because Target didn't favour Zeller employees for rehire.
