I went shopping today to take advantage of the buy $100 get 100 miles, and found out that if coupon savings bring your total down below $100 you will not get the 100 bonus airmiles, regardless of when you scan the airmiles coupon.
I was at $115~ total after clubcard when I scanned the coupon, and my receipt shows that Airmiles coupon #1042 was entered, but doesn't list the 100 airmiles as earned as coupons brought my total down to $98~
Went to CS and bought a $5 item to cover the difference, and had the receipts linked & manually entered in the Airmiles book, but figured I should warn others who thought to use coupons to reach $100

Went today and bought 6 pepsi 6 packs and had two B2G1 coupons so only paid for 4 @ $4each.
For those who think Safeway is over-priced you just have to be a wary shopper Wal-Mart is $4 too while SDM has a special on @$2.50 each if you buy 2.
So 4 at Safeway cost $16 = $18.88 after tax on all 6.
4 at SDM = $10 - $11.80 after tax on all 6.
However, I picked up 100 AMs = $11.40 in AMs
$18.88 - $11.40 = $7.48 vs. $11.40 at SDM
$3.92 better at Safeway than the best price I could find elsewhere.

Yes Tuesday is 10% off day. I am going to do the cereal/milk deal again. Hurray. I am glad stores are doing this more frequently. Can't beat free milk especially when the cereal is priced right as well.

OK, I've updated P.1 for June 3 - 9
I've also adjusted the value of an AirMile to $0.11 since AirMiles revalued all gift cards at $0.114/AM this past week.
This reduces the AirMiles advantage by 27% so look closely at the values before you buy.
Yogurt will be a good deal on Tuesday as it brings a tub to effectively $1.37.
The B3GMilk on Kellogg's continues. Watch it though as this weeks flyer indicates specific types and sizes while the coupon itself does not. After 10% the cereal is $3.60/box
Finally, for those who wonder how I got 37% Off on Tuesday on the vitamins instead of 40%:
30% Off leaves 70%. On Tuesday the 10% is applied to the remaining 70% not the original price which reduces the amount another 7%.
30% + 7% = 37%

I plan on buying the Yogurt tubes 2/$5 Buy 5 get 40AM. There are $1 off coupons from gocoupons. You can order 1 each week. I have lots. So I will be getting my yogurt tubes for $12.50 (for 5) - $5 coupons= $7.50 - 15% here in Red Deer + 40 AM's. Not sure on the end cost but I know for yogurt tubes that's a great price and can't be beat.

Coley,You can order 1 each week.
I think you can order pretty well every day or maybe it's just because I have several different emails I use for Junk purposes.
One good free email is at:

The Irish Spring with the $2 coupons is looking good, especially on Tuesday.

BTW anyone eles ever notice in every flyer if you spend around $25 there is promotion for 100 airmiles?

I am but for the life of me I don't understand the big todo about it. I very seldom sign up for any of the promotional offer on FB as they seem to want too much access to your personal info. And I am not on Facebook either.
Clippy,
Many of us are buying the yogurt and soap this week. If I haven't thrown the coupons away I'll be buying the dental floss. When you visit your dentist check to see if they have coupon booklets at the counter, etc. I made a profit in AirMiles donating toothpaste to the foodbank earlier this year.any tips (that do not include buying cereal or spending $100) to get me over the hill in the next 6 months?
Also keep your eyes open for any unadvertised specials on housebrands. Last week newfbc noticed this one:
It was an excellent offer. I bought 6 for a quick 120.Safeway 'Thirsty' brand 2 roll paper towel. $3/pk.
Buy 2, get 40 Air Miles. @ 0.13/AM = $0.80 for 4 big rolls paper tower. Not bad.

The paper towel was a good deal, I picked up 72 for 1440 miles + base, does anyone know how to identify the housebrand unadvertised deals? The manager explained the only way is to literally walk up and down every aisle, and those deals are weekly - bi-weekly
