What are you thankful for today?

I'm thankful for a day at the beach with all the men in my life. (Dh and my sons.)

Thankful to be ready to leave tomorrow for our mini vacation to Hamilton. Thankful that my hubby will see and visit his sisters, one who is not well, for the first time in four years.

I am thankful fo temps cool enough to sleep in! Everyone I know is also thankful that I got some sleep. lol

I am thankful for my air conditioned office. As much as I complain about my job to DH, on sunny warm days like this its great to step into a nice cool place to drink your TIMS COFFEE (!!!) and start your day.

I'm feeling thankful that we have a very nice looking garden for the first time in a long time.

I am thankful for the vocationa students I worked with this week.

They have a lot of personal and family problems, but when one of their peers kept disrupting our "sessions" for the fourth time in 3 weeks, they said, "[Shwa Girl] is one of the nicest ladies that we have worked with. [Peer], why do you have to mess it up for us? If you don't like this session, no one is forcing you to stay. We don't need you to upset [Shwa Girl]"

That shocked me. I did think I was making progress. I was wrong.
