I'd like to ride this one! I love exchanges.. you are all so generous
I love to bring extra coupons with me and give them to people buying that particular item. I haven't had anyone refuse a coupon yet!
I also post good deals every week on the bulletin board in the coffee room at work with an envelope of coupons for coworkers to take.

I had a great pay it forward moment yesterday!
Through different trades I had accumulated $50 in Tims GC's. I used them yesterday to buy the coffee for 8 people going through the drive through (I was inside at the counter) and asked the staff member to give them each one of the pay it forward cards. The best moment? When a Mom in a van was starting to cancel her order because she had forgotten her purse at home. She had coffee for her and timbits for the kids - I thought she was going to cry, or hug the poor kid at the window LOL

1 & 2. I started out offerring babycoupons to a known and beloved Train conductor named Anna Michele and she did not need so she refered me to SavenRaven and her CHARITY for helping mothers and she just accepted my offer of coupons for little ones, very happy about that.
3. Went to Tim Hortons and used up my last free coffee rim and a voice behind me said I wish I had won one so I said well let me buy you one and I turned around and this one was for me - he was as cute as a button - at the most 19 and the lightest blue eyes and blond streaked hair, I would have given him my wallet if he wanted it but this would turn this thread into a whole other catagory...back on track...
4. Went to Canadian Tire thanks to Colleen Mc??? I believe about reminding us/me about the 1.50 coupon onGreen Works, thanks to her sharing I have 10 almost free bottles of dish-soap and I offered the cashier a few Green Works coupons B2G 2.00 off good till May and of course mentionned SC and she already knows abouthis fantastic site.
5. Went to RCSS and helped a few people out with a few coupons I just happened to have with me-not all of them but I did what I could.
6. Came back home and a kind SCer had sent me some Tide coupons that I always give to a neighbour that does not have much money and try to help out once in a while when I can. And through another kind SCer I will be giving her some free Vileidas as a little surprise as soon as I can find some in the city.
It's only 8 pm we'll see what the rest of the day brings, I am off to prepare some envies and thank you everyone for doing this too. I love sharing and I thank Anna Michele for creating this train. A wonderful theme.Last edited by oscarandme; Sun, Apr 14th, 2013 at 08:08 PM.

I just love reading all of the wonderful pay it forward moments!!!!
Yesterday, after my friends and I finished at the National Women's show, we still had hours left on our parking spot that we had paid for, so we offered it to the next person that pulled into the lotSoft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur... happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr purr purr

I would like to join, please. I'll pm you. Guess I have to work on my wishlist! (Maybe someone could pay it backwards, and do it for me LOL!)
Another "Pay it Forward" idea might be to clean out your closet (clothes or otherwise) and donate what you find that you're not using to a charity.

I often donate my son's clothes to a local thrift store... they do a lot of good work in the community and all the money they make goes to the local food bank! I shop there often

A good place to do this is the local office of subsidized housing
Today I will be doing my annual event LOL I post posters for free patching of kids jeans at my Sons school. Kids are hard on clothes and even small jeans are expensive to replace. So I have been doing it once a year for free for 3 years now.
Have a fantastic day everyone!
