If you redeemed the points from the spend $100 get 20 000 points on gift cards or purchases will they take away points to make you go into negative points territory or do you get away with it?

Oh yeah - the claw back has begun... To answer your question yes they do put you in the negative - I know because I'm looking at my point balance as a big fat negative... LOL.

I already spent mine so now I'm showing -40000. LOL. I'll get right on that....LOL

I tried to get this deal but didn't get the bonus points. However, I think it's a shame that PC would take the points away after they were given. Shame on them! Although, the fine print does state "If any PC points are awarded to your Account in error, we reserve the right to deduct the number of PC points awarded in error at any time, and without notice to you. We are not obligated to honour a request to redeem PC points added to an Account in error." I read this after going through the policy with a fine tooth comb when I wasn't granted the points.

I guess it didn't matter if you rushed out and spent the points on gift cards, christmas stuff etc like I wish I had at one point. One way or another they were going to claw the points back. Easy come easy go.

If you added your pc mastercard and/or debit card to the pcplus system it might not be that easy. I'm sure someone on here will try and let us know.

That was why people were suggesting that one could collect the points and then immediately spend them. It was realized by many that it went against the program, and likely that the points would be taken back.
