In my case, I'm pretty sure their pattern is to take stuff that I do buy and try to encourage me to buy something else. Either the competitors or jumbo packs of those items. I only ever get two produce offers.
E.g. we buy Cinnabon bread, they try to get me to buy Country Harvest (which is owned by Weston Breads, the same Westons that own Loblaws)
I buy Dove soap, they try to get me to buy Olay (P&G is a big advertiser in the Loblaws "Big Brands" flyer)
Advertising is my pattern. I see through you, PC Plus.Last edited by torontogal12; Fri, Mar 28th, 2014 at 10:27 AM.

I got a Scope 600 pt deal *last* week. Would have been great if the offer was for this week! Could've been a money maker with the 75 cent coupons...grrr!

most of my offers make sense to me - dh bought some KD last week - KD is on my offers this week. I bought cool whip - 2 weeks later it's an offer....other things I know it's just to get me to try a new product. I get romaine and strawberries a lot on my offers which is fine with me.
I did get a tassimo offer - I have a keurig.....
A few days ago I bought dd a gatorade as a treat and I have a powerade offer - still makes sense to me since I would buy which ever was on sale for something like that.Collecting Campbell's soup labels for our school RAKs greatly appreciated.
Using WagJag for great deals!

Interesting - I find that my points offers reflect what I buy all the time usually and some weeks they match up - some they don't - I buy deli meat and deli cheese every week and the offer was there for a few weeks! I guess it is dependent on your shopping habits but might be different for others... *shrug* I'm really enjoying the program and almost have 90,000 pts and its only taken about 5 - 6 months to rack up...

All I know is my offers match up to what I buy almost every week, for the last 2 weeks I have not bought deli meat for my kids and the offer has been removed each time
All I do is load ALL offers every week and shop normally how I do week to week - no changing what I buy just because there is a offer for it, well unless the Finish 5,000pts comes back I might lol
This weeks offers are -
300pts Lettuce --> buy every week
2,500pts for every $10 spent on PC Black Label --> there is a few things I wouldn't mind trying!
200pts for every $1 spent on Apples --> buy every week to feed to the deer
500pts Imperial Margarine --> will buy this as I am almost out
800pts Amooza Twists --> buy these every week, with 2 kids in school/daycare they don't last
200pts Yoplait YOP Yogurt Drinks --> buy these every week same reason as above
1,400pts Febreze Fabric Refresher --> I do use this but still have some so I will load the offer but not buy
4,00pts Nutri-Grain Bars --> buy these almost every week, kids love the new crunchy ones
200pts for every $1 spent on No Name Cheese --> buy this every week
200pts for every $1 spent on Fresh Beef --> every few weeks we buy this, this week is a pass
200pts for every $1 spent on Fresh Pork --> our dog is on a strict diet or pork & yams, YES gross but buy every week

Strangely my offers almost NEVER match up to items I buy with the exception of a couple produce offers (we buy a lot produce).
This week I have 6 offers for no name products. Not once have I bought a no name product.
Even last week when I liked my offers they weren't for products I normally buy. My favourite was the 600 points for Kool-Aid. I can say without a doubt I had never bought Kool-Aid at Loblaws. I stock up in the US for $0.20 a packet (usually I can find a coupon to lower that) plus they have more flavours.
Was hopeful my offers would be good again this week but no, back to junk.

Great record keeping.
I just went into my most purchased items and it says my top ones are:
1. Vitamins (I must eat them instead of food, apparently, since they're supposedly the #1 thing I buy)
2. Sausages (I buy them maybe twice a year)
3. Pasta (Have bought pasta maybe twice in the last 3 years)
4. Berries (this may be accurate)
5. Milk (heck no. I refuse to pay $7 for 2L milk at Loblaws).
6. Juices & Drinks - Family Size (Don't buy family sizes. EVER)
And it actually put gift wrap in my top 25 list. I haven't bought gift wrap anywhere for 3 years.
It says I buy more gift wrap than fresh poultry or cheese.
ETA My mistake, I remember buying 1 roll of Xmas gift wrap on clearance this year. But I buy way more chicken and cheese than 1.
