I sometimes really want another baby, especially when seeing pics of such cute little ones, and the old videos and stuff of my boy. But then things are so nice and comfortable for us now it would be hard to imagine messing it up. Plus there's the whole being single thing, getting knocked up would be a bit costly lol. Sadly they don't offer coupons at the fertility clinic

OK.....you have me laughing pretty good! lol No more babies for me I am done. Grandchildren....nope not yet....I am old enough but me not ready! lol

EDIT: Guess I should say two of my kids are old enough. Oh my goodness Norma what will I do with you!!!! Sometimes I say the strangest things!

I am a little dense sometimes.....I speak before actually thinking things through. I once said to hubby "Oh look honey all the cows are laying in the field do they always do that" he just looked at me and then I started laughing and said forget I said that. Another time Lloyd was sitting beside me and we were on our way home and his vehicle was home and I said aloud oh "Honey is home" he looks at me and I look at him and I go "Forget I said that"! We laugh once again.

It is going to be a busy weekend, I just emptied mom's cake room so I can turn it into my stockpile room . After dinner I need to set up my shelves and stock them and than on Tuesday they deliver my new freezer. I cannot wait to have a second freezer and a freezer that does not freezer burn everything. Once we get the second freezer we will have someone come in and look at our old freezer. I am so excited but so tired just thinking about everything I need to get done this weekend.

You can do it! You'll feel soooo much better afterward, I've only finished kitchen cupboards and bathroom cupboards and already I feel much better walking in the door. Still have linen closet, my clothes closet (which is a room of it's own!) let alone the basement.. but just those accomplishments have made a world of difference!

I really want a baby (like now) and I'm hearing tick tock, tick tock really loud at 34. My new doctor even told me that I better get working on it...no pressure, eh?! DBF though still thinks he's in his early twenties (he's 35). This is the summer of our future together (engaged, etc) or I think I need to move on to someone willing to settle down and have a family.

Seeing that pic just makes me want to hold him He's so cute.

Oh, and my weekend consists of working on my Additional Qualification Religion course (reading, posting, responding, writing papers)

I'm so great a procrastinating that I'm even willing to do housework to avoid the course. My house is spotless!
I just really need to focus and get it done. Such bad work habits for a teacher lol!

Been trying for a baby for 3 years, I am almost 30. People keep on tellin me I am still so young, some people don't seem to understand that for some people it takes forever to become pregnant. I saw a tarrot reader that said I would have twin boys by 33, we'll see.

I feel for you. I've had close friends and family go through the same thing. Which is also why I'm so nervous. Some did get pregnant (through in vitro or naturally), and some adopted. I hope it happens soon, army_girl29.

Congrats meshell what a little cutie.

Went down with hubby & DD this afternoon/evening to the honda indy & saw some qualifying as well as some of the guys hubby used to work with. .

This weekend hubby will be down qt the indy both days. So I will be around home tomorrow maybe take DD to a local splash pad &/or park. Sunday going to my parents. Then Sunday night my parents are babysitting DD so we can go the indy afterparty.

Hubby and I have zero plans for babies. I would not like the role of "mother". I rock the role of Auntie though

It's definitely important to both be on the same page, and ready for a MAJOR lifestyle change (as Alexa has been screaming for about an hour now), but I get the pressure. I was feeling it in a bit of a different way though. I always thought 30 would be the perfect age but then divorce happened etc. and I wasnt ready at 30. Don is 2 years older than me and said he wasn't having kids after 35 because he doesn't want to be an "old dad"...his dad has 2 sons with his second wife that are 20 years younger than Don. His dad's already retired, and then had to go back to work to support his second family. I'm sure he's happy, but I'm also sure there must be days when he wakes up and says "wtf"...plus there's the whole genetics thing after 35...women get screwed with the biological clock when it comes to that, for sure!
