Best Buy is really annoying me right now. I was given two promo codes for 2 orders where there was an issue. Was told I could only use one per order so I split it up. I used one successfully and have been having a problem with the other one. I was told to place the order and that it will be applied manually. I've done that and now they're telling me that I already used that code on the first order. I went back into my order details and it clearly shows that I used the other one. Have sent them this and hope they can get this resolved, as I've spent far more time on this than I would like.

Ugh so pissed off!! I broke my permanent retainer eating peanuts now the glue is all chipped off and my tongue keeps snagging on the wire.

Today, this morning, was boiling water in the kettle for DH instant coffee, and, the wire attached to it decided to OH cause a small FIRE! I guess the wire was faulty some how? Everyone is OK and nothing burned down, thank God! But still, if I was not in my kitchen when it happened, God knows what would have happened! Not a good week for me!

I need to make a meeting with my professor to tell him I likely won't have my thesis done on "schedule" - loose term, there is no "real" schedule I have heard from my labmate. I want to do it in person, and he asked if I would like to come to Toronto to have a meeting with him......
