I just found out tonight that one can no longer upload receipts to pg good every day . ca
I thought the upload receipt button was just moved but, no.
The FAQ says
Why am I unable to upload a receipt on P&G Good Everyday Canada?
As of November 2, 2023 P&G Good Everyday Canada will no longer accept receipt scanning as a way to earn points.

Just watched The Fifth Estate episode revisiting the horrific garment factory fire 10 years ago in Bangladesh. I've always despised Loblaw period. So, no surprise they are STILL having their Joe Fresh brand clothes manufactured in roughly 27 various UNSAFE factories in Bangladesh. More attention needs to be given to the conditions that workers there are helpless to speak out about. Fire Safety? non existent. Building construction up to par? Unlikely.
I say stop buying anything that Joe Fresh makes. That might get some attention.

Yesterday, there was a text offer of 10K WUS $30. I also had an offer of 3000pts for every $10 on The Body Shop. I saw online that the 250ml shower gel was $13 and the 750ml was $26.
Buy one big bottle for $26, get $4 filler, get 10K and 6K (2 x 3000pts)
They did not have any at any of the stores we visited and concluded that they are only sold online.
When I got home, I tried to order online and when I checked out, I couldn't and told me to go to the pharmaprix website. Quebecers cannot order from shoppers website and only can order from pharmaprix website.
When I went to the pharmaprix website, there are no The Body Shop products.
Even if I wanted to order, I can't.

@walkonby I will watch that Fifth Estate episode this week. I recall that Loblaws was the only major vendor that signed up first on the agreement to ensure safe factory conditions at sites contracted for Joe Fresh clothing items after the massive public outrage in North America over brands that had their clothing made in Bangladesh in the affected factories. Either the watchers are not catching the factory owners in the act or some sleight of hand is at work.
@couponmummy Not sure how you can make use of the offer but here's hoping you might find products by calling stores. Maybe you have friends in other provinces living near Body Shop stores that might know of local product inventory and can help you out? Just glanced at the Facebook page and customers are upset that points and gift cards cannot be used in-store either. That oh-so-satisfying feeling of a fresh refill. Can you guess the scent? 💭💚 Find a refill station near you: https:///3I9S2Qu | The Body Shop | The Body Shop · Original audio | FacebookLast edited by Ciel21; Sun, Mar 3rd, 2024 at 08:41 PM.

I KNEW gas was going to go up on April 1st, BUT totally forgot to top up the gas tank yesterday. Happy April Fool's day to ME!!
I pumped 50.60 Litres and my OOP was $75.86. I benefited from my PetroCan deal of .13 cents off each L. but I still feel ripped off!
Small comfort knowing the Climate Action deposit is increasing....GRRR, this still annoys me.

What's going on with Bell phone services? Found a message that a tech is doing an Internet installation tomorrow? Both Bro and Mom each had a phone with Bell (from Bell) but no one said anything about a Bell visit. The toll free number only got me to a sales person who offered to transfer me. Not accepted. I said I will call tomorrow and stated we've been with another company since April 24 for phone and Internet.
Almost daily, the call display shows one number or another from Bell or purporting to be Bell, since April 24. The Universe better explain STAT what is going on."This is the Way." The Mandalorian

Second call this morning (and I get menu options on this call which was not the case with earlier call). Got someone in Loyalty who managed to figure out the problem but we spent several minutes that could have been saved. Tip-have your Bell bill for whatever residential service handy to provide the Customer ID number. The account number on the landline service letters was not quite long enough and did not yield necessary account record on the employee's end.
Just happens there is a survey to conduct on recent interactions. I will do it to give credit to the Bell person who answered my call after I made all the various menu choices! Also for allowing me to vent somewhat as I was really keen to get resolution before 12pm today.
Update: still got a voice message after 12pm about the tech visit. have not seen the van on our street so I am watching. Wonder how long it will take for resolution to reach tech. I assume that visit paperwork was printed off yesterday...feeling sorry for affected customer waiting for service...Last edited by Ciel21; Thu, May 2nd, 2024 at 01:32 PM.

not a real rant, but If I had not checked my receipt before leaving the store I would have been pissed! The peaches were on sale at FB for .88 a pound, the cashier entered them as nectarines!! The difference in cost? the nectarines came in at $7.94, after the refund the peaches went through properly and came up at $1.76
Check the receipts always before exiting.

You are so right check your receipts before you leave the stores.I had three coupons yesterday and the cashier only took two off and one coupon was in the cash register which she didn't take off the so she had to give it to me and she said take the coupon to customer service to get my cash back.

I make this rant .
My Maxi stopped to apply Price Matching and a coupon togheter. It is the Price Matching OR the coupon. Not the 2 like before. They made this rule before put never fully applied. Now it is.And as I read the french couponning fb sites many others Maxi does the same.
Now you have to be aware if it is the Price Matching or the coupon the most advantageous. So you have to be aware of the regular price of the item at Maxi.It will be more benefit to use the Price Matching not the coupon
And before there sneaky rule was; You cannot get free stuff after you are doing a price matching and a coupon...wow
.It cannot be free.
I really dont understand why Maxi does that.It is really unfair. It is not like the money is out of their pocket.Seems Maxi dont like us to try to save a little bit of money on the high price of grocery...
Now you really have to work hard to save money.....Last edited by cath007; Sun, Jun 23rd, 2024 at 11:36 AM.

Oh I so heard you about checking your receipt at the grocery before you leave.A few years ago when I would not checking the receipt because I was not using coupons and Price Matching.I was not aware.
Now I double check 2 time my receipt every time before leaving. To ensure the prices are correctly entered, coupons properly applied and deduce ,and that my points earned are correct.
I never have the chance to find a price error to have a SCOP. But 4 differents time I found I was charged 3 items when I have just 1 or little mistakes.
The most important one was when I got a young male cashier. It was his first job day. They have the proper training but they have so many things to remember and to apply. So I got many many mistakes on my receipt.I know it was not intentional he was just doing the best he can.
I was charged 1 product more (11,99$),coupons did not apply the right way .And he forgot to enter some coupons. So after to go trought the courtosy counter to resolve my receipt. It was at least 20$ difference .I think it is our job to check the receipts too.Cashiers are humans too.Mistakes happens.Last edited by cath007; Sun, Jun 23rd, 2024 at 11:34 AM.

I had the same problem last year. They would not let me price match and use coupons at the same time. I wrote to them via the Contact Us page stating that other Maxi stores still allow me to do this and I would like an email stating I could do this so I could bring it with me to show the cashier. They wrote me back saying I could do this with the names of the director, asst director, and 2 cash managers.
Today, I tried using a raincheck with a coupon. The coupon says "Not valid with any other offer" and the guy says that a raincheck is an offer. We said we could've used it last week when it was on sale but the store had no stock. It was Doritos for $2.55 and a $1 WUB2 coupon from tastyrewards. He said a sale is an offer and we would've been denied using it. The coupon is valid only on regular price. Now, I always buy stuff on sale with a coupon and never regular price.
So I wrote another letter to Maxi via Contact Us.
