I just don't understand all the hatred and nastiness that seems to be everywhere these days.
I was looking through the web which began at YouTube and ended up on a site called Gossip Guru. Seriously, it was like an adult mean girls club.
And all the fear mongering that is happening about everything in general. Especially on social media. You have to be VERY careful of what words you use and voicing opinions. Heaven help you if you voice an opinion that is deemed unacceptable by the masses. Because someone will take offence and then you are a bad person. Society seems to be turning into a public police state. I maybe not expressing myself very well about this but hopefully I will get my point across.

Agreed! I have inadvertently been dragged into Facebook wars a couple of times because I have commented on some weird stuff coming up on my feed via a "friend's friend". My rule of thumb: if I feel it's important enough to fight it out then I write it out, go to bed, read it again in the morning and if it still makes sense to me then I press "post". Otherwise I just shake it off and delete. Either way good therapy

You are so right, Wolfie....the fear mongering these days is epidemic and contagious. I get great relief by taking my dog for a walk; he loves everybody. His 'goofy-ness' produces smiles and those are contagious too. Even the birds seem happy just to share their songs. That's the kind of social media I like!

does it help to claim the dental costs at income tax time at least? I have no idea how much a person would have to spend in a year to get any benefits back but hopefully anything would be better than claiming nothing. Oh and that jerk that was so unbelievably vocal about his hatred towards French people?? You mentioned he looked older, wow! that is so so sad. Glad he did not hit your vehicle.

Didn't mean to sound ageist, just wanted to be descriptive. It is sad, mind you, that he carries so much hatred. I hear that stuff is toxic.

Hear ya. My former manager had been feeding me lots of negative stuff about other colleagues over the years. Her manager wasn't very happy after finding out that I had been working in this "toxic" environment. My former manager was deemed irresponsible and ****phobic for passing me, an underling, so much bad gossip, some of which are even false.

Why must Walmart always make things difficult? I'm trying to upload pics of dd's graduation and the site WILL NOT WORK. I've been trying all freaking day. Normally I'd send them somewhere else but a boy from her school had no parents or family come with him to grad and I got some really nice pictures of him that I wanted to print out and give to him so he's have some pictures of himself and Walmart is the only place that does next day service here.

1. Coupon hogs.

Saw broken empty tearpads and coupon holders on the ground but no coupons. Also tons of ripped in-half coupons on the ground around the coupon zone at RCSS.


2. No Maple Lodge event at the RCSS I went to today, even though when I clicked on the promo, it gave me directions to that store.

3. Went to: No Frill's, GT, Shopper's, Walmart, RCSS (twice), Metro by bus and walking with my tot in the stroller. I saw lots of signs, (♫ they opened up my eyes, I saw the signs. ♫ ...Remember 90's pop?!) but so did everyone else because no Pepsi booklet for me.

Addendum:
I did luck out and get the picnic booklet though so I'm happy about that! Although, it took some doing. I went to Customer service at RCSS and got... guess what! CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! It was one of those times when the old adage, "it never hurts to ask" rang true because she called a grocery manager for me and the manger gave me a couple.

So yippee! for customer service at the North Oshawa RCSS. I am spreading the love for their store here in return:

Okay, the love has officially been spread.

-my lovely green mint sweater -only a year old but not worn much (look like new)
-well l wore It to home depot the other night with hubby -looked at stains -paint lady(around my age) opened stain to show us then smacked the lid back on - 2 splatter spots -so she runs to put a stain remover spray on it i said nope will try at home
-talked to service desk -they called manager over -he said did i have the bill -nope but i paid about 10.00 at marks workwarehouseo he told me try at home if not he would give me 10.00 off next purchase
-so tried to get 2 stains off now have a tiny hole from rubbing -so delicate -well I will be getting 10.00 off our purchase for sure
