So I got this great deal on these sunlight laundry tablets. been using them for over a month love love love them! my clothes are super clean and i have no complaints.
just tonight i read the box because i was thinking about throwing two in for this load of dirty towels.
annnd realized that these are the dishwashing tablets.
i am so confused. wth? it is in tiny tiny print and i bought them among the other laundry soaps. they get all my clothes so clean, but now i feel all biased because its for a dishwashing machine. i dont even own a dishwasher.
sigh. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

They had a news release out about this a while back, with an apology, and are changing the packaging.

I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

Too funny!! Sounds like something I'd do!! Dishwasher detergent is so harsh, however, that it really does make some cleaning jobs easier! Esp when we used the gel. Now it's tabs all the way...

that's what i keep reading lynn but the thing is i love how clean it gets everything. my son is three and ruins clothes on the regular but these tablets take every stain out. they work great on my colours and everything. theres no weird smell. nothing. they are awesome. lol, i think im gonna use up the ones i have. if they havent hurt any clothes thus far then why not? ive been using them for like two or three months now. walmart even took my sunlight $1.50 coupons off, like nobody knew that these were dish soap. erg.

Don't feel bad I do this on purpose for whitening whites and brightning colours ( no bleach for the colours), I got this recipe a long time ago from a blog and it works really well,I also have a window cleaning recipe with dishwasher soap in it and it is awesome.you aren't hurting your clothes!! here is the brightner recipe.
- HOT HOT HOT water
- 1 cup of laundry detergent
- 1 cup powdered dish washer detergent
- 1 cup bleach
- 1/2 cup borax
After filling the washing machine with HOT water….
Another thing to remember is to add the above ingredients to as small a load size as possible. You are looking forCONCENTRATED cleaning power, and the more water you have in the tub, the less concentrated it will be. Shoot for BARELY enough water to cover the article.
Let soak for as long as you can stand it! and wash as usual.Last edited by thriftygranny; Thu, Jul 4th, 2013 at 10:38 PM. Reason: forgot info
