I had an Optimum offer of pay $2.99 for each container of 12 Farmer's Market brand cookies ( maximum 4 ) . Regular price for these is $5.00, so naturally I grabbed 4 of them for the guys. Well of course the dang discount never came off at the checkout, the cashier said the Optimum Programme was running so slow and not working well all morning.
I will say Optimum's CS is quite good. I called when i got back home and they fixed the issue by putting 10,000 points back into my account. I can live with that.

I don't know where to post my question: when RCSS has a limit of 2 on an item, is that limit 2 of that flavour or 2 for all combined flavours?
Example, Doritos are listed limit 2 and there are several Doritos flavours.

Recently, RCSS had pasta on for $1 / 900g package with a limit of 1/customer. I thought it was for each type i.e. spaghetti, rotini, macaroni, etc. However, I learned that they meant 1 package of ALL pasta types per customer. What a pain to make separate transactions individually.
My food may not befit a king, but I eat like a horse.

Granola bars are off my radar, haven't bought any in so long since no kids really. BUT had an offer to get a limit of 4 of the PC ones ( Dipped " something or other " ) @ $1.49 per box.
DS will feel like a kid again when he sees them in the back room!
Then for myself I picked up 4 x 30 Keurig pods of Folgers Black Silk coffee @ $14.99 a box. PC offer of 4,500 points per each $30.00 spend = 9,000 points.
It works out to $0.42 for each pod? My math way way off before I edited this....ha ha TY to my DS for correcting me.
Note: refrain from bragging to your kid about a deal you got, they'll do the calculations in their head and embarrass you.
Turns out I spend .83 cents each morning for my large coffee, but then my DS laughed and and asked me " uh, Mom how much cream do you add to it? "
Go away now I told him...ha ha
I still felt o.k. because when I was at Metro just before going to NF, I saw the same boxes of coffee priced at $22.00 !! Crazy.Last edited by walkonby; Thu, Jun 15th, 2023 at 04:23 PM.

At Sobeys:
4 x Kellogg's Mini Wheats @ $3.97 each = $15.88
used 4 x $1.50 coupons = $6.00
earned 2 x 150 in-store Scene points WUB2 = 300 points ($3.00 value)
earned 4 x $2.00 CheckOut51 = $8.00
$15.88 (cost) - $6.00 (coupons) - $3.00 (points value) - $8.00 (CO51) = - $1.12 and 4 x FREE boxes of Mini Wheats!

The new NF flyer has the best price I recall for quite a while on canned Sockeye salmon @ $2.75. This is timely since although we only eat a few tins a year, we were down to our last one. So, I had been looking for a $2.99 deal to restock up. My store was out this morning (it seems the truck hadn't arrived yet), but I was headed to RCSS anyway, where they had plenty. The stuff has very long expiry date, so I did a couple of transactions to PM about 3 years' worth. And even got a free barbecue lighter due to the cashier not asking me about the deal of the week.

Also at Sobeys:
Cracker Barrel Cheese Sauce Kit @ $6.99
in-store offer of 200 Scene points = $2.00 value
personal/digital offer of 500 Scene points = $5.00 value
peelie coupon on the package of $1.50
You can see where this is going . . .
$6.99 (cost) - $2.00 (in-store points value) - $5.00 (personal/digital points value) - $1.50 peelie coupon = - $1.51 and FREE Cracker Barrel Cheese Sauce Kit!
We've never tried the cheese sauce but, hey, if Sobeys want to pay me to try it, I'm game!
