    An unexpected medal....Denny Morrison. He wasn’t even supposed to compete in the 1,000.
    But teammate Gilmore Junio gave his spot to Morrison because he knew Morrison was the team’s best skater.

    I am attempting to locate ctv's tv olympic schedule and it's no where in site!
    It was on here.
    Now it's gone.

    The official standings are the ones on the Sochi page - it's not by the total number of medals, but each medal has different weight - e.g. gold are worth more.

    RDI had a reporter talking about a bobsleigh crash (don't know which team) but what surprised me is watching people in dark blue coats take down lighting fixtures on the track (with a regular stepladder) without safety glasses at least on, never mind gloves or hard hats.

    Saw the Dutch women's speed skater beat Russian speed skater Fatkulina in the rink today.

    BTW, any news on how Yuki Tsubota is doing two days after her smack/tumble on the slope?
