I thought DF and I had narrowed it down to two names .. But we haven't .. We cannot seem to agree on ANYTHING and it's driving me insane . I feel like I saw all the possibilities and hate them all or DF doesn't like it . We were originally going for italian .. DF likes Angelo and massimo .. But they're soooo old ... I like(d) italian ones til I saw their all so not cute and old sounding . I love original names , city names and I like Greek ones. However my dad said if its not his name then it's a "disgrace" to take another Greek name .. (I'm Greek and DF italian )
So (sorry for the ramble ) PLEASE HELP!!!
Here's what's already been used in the family :
Alessandro, Claudio, Vincenzo, Lucas , damiano , Marco, Sylvio (Hense why a non italian name will seem out of place on too of it but f it.. I need all my options now lol)
And the last name will be Mini.
So , 3-2-1 boy names go !This thread is currently associated with: N/ALast edited by tasha313; Tue, Oct 8th, 2013 at 12:13 PM.

Mmmm...always loved the name "Vincenzo"...almost regal and a 3 syllable name goes nicely with a 2 syllable last name, IMHO...and it means "conquerer"....good luck! What a happy problem to have!

Sabastian - revered
Taidgh - honour
Ulysses - wrathfulI can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

Alessandro, Claudio, Vincenzo, Lucas , damiano , Marco, Sylvio
My personal preference is Alessandro, it means defender of man, so it is a strong name.
Known too many Marco's and Sylvio's. They are very common.
Lucas or Luca are good names, but you said your nephew.....
Vincenzo, nope. People are going to call him Vinny, which gives me the chills.
Claudio means lame or limp.
Love like crazy everyday and smile.

Luca reminds me of the Suzanne Vega song...
My name is luca
I live on the second floor
I live upstairs from you
Yes i think you've seen me before
If you hear something late at night
Some kind of trouble, some kind of fightI can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

Try it with the last name and really consider it...
Massimo Mini
Alessandro Mini
Vincenzo Mini
Is there gonna be a middle name(s) for the baby? Maybe you can compromise with DH and one of you can select the first and the other can select the middle name....?The average dog

Googled boy names Italian and got these:
Enzo: (male) The Italian form of Henry is such a cool option for your son. Henry is popular again, but still sounds dated. Enzo sounds fresh and new.
Lanz: (male) Sometimes short and to the point is perfect, especially for parents who don't like nicknames. Lanz completely fits that bill.
Brando: (male) I love the name Brando and it has been long enough since Marlon Brando, that the name is safely back to being a possibility.
Aldo: (male) There's something very inviting about Aldo. It means old and wise. It definitely is a sound that isn't overly popular right now in boy's names and could make an excellent choice for your baby boy.
Thadeo: (male) This name isn't my usual style, but it has a throwback to the 80s feel with a modern twist.
Antonio: (male) Meaning priceless one, Antonio makes the perfect name for any little boy. It's got so much energy and is much more exciting then Anthony.
Dante: (male) Dante means enduring, which is an excellent definition. It also manages to have a modern feel. It's a great departure from Daniel.
Alonzo: (male) Meaning noble and ready, Alonzo is a great name. There are so many kids named Alex, why not try something new?
Fiero: (male) If you are a fan of the musical Wicked, this might or might not be able to be an option for you. If you have no idea what I am talking about, then Fiero is an awesome choice with an awesome sound!
Caruso: (male) Meaning operatic, Caruso is a cool choice for your son. It definitely has a surname feel, but surnames are totally popular right now.
Santino: (male) Santino means little saint. It's definitely a name with a dramatic feel. It's a choice for bold parents.
Marco: (male) Mark is so new testament. Marco is a great choice and spices up the name subtly.
Giancarlo: (male) I love these two names together! Gian is also a fantastic nickname for your son. It has such a great sound and energy.
Orlando: (male) Meaning famous throughout the land, Orlando is an awesome choice. It's also a city name and Orlando Bloom has made it seem like a perfectly normal name. The average dog
is nicer
than the average person.
