This might be the wrong place to post but I have to ask - are the black friday deals good online, or do you have to battle it out in the stores to get the deals?

coyote, those are so cute! I have an ornament that my brother made when he was in kindergarten (he's 30 now). it's a little sleeping mouse. it's made from a hollowed out walnut, the mouse is a little almond sticking up and a piece of felt glued on top to make it look like a blanket, and a cut rubber band sticks out as the 'tail'. can you imagine doing a craft that involved a walnut and an almond now a days?
When life hands you lemons, make a lemon pie... lemonade will be all like WTH?!?

I LOVE the ball wreaths, so cheap and easy to do! Going to have to buy a lot of the ornaments when they go on really cheap after Christmas.

Chantel make sure they are plastic and assorted sizes. the wreaths can get very heavy with big glass balls.i made one last year it prolly weighed 20 lbs.

Jeebs! Thanks for the advice, I will have to make sure they're plastic, thank you! I guess the plus side is plastic always seems to be cheaper than glass or shatterproof glass.

Chantel, they're so cheap at dollar stores, and they are plastic! We'd love to see a pic when you get it finished!
Lil....not sure about Black Friday deals...perhaps people might be more knowledgeable about that on the Canadian deals thread? Sorry...

are we allowed to say christmas?
I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

Absolutely...and why on earth not?!
We have Christmas trees, Christmas carols, Christmas presents....
I'd say Happy Hanukkah to someone of the Jewish faith if I knew them to be Jewish...why would I not say MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone else?
I've said MERRY CHRISTMAS to someone a couple years ago, and they said HAPPY HANUKKAH back to me...we both smiled and I thought, "How nice, how civilized..."
It's CHRISTMAS!!!!
