was at the waterdown location this afternoon- the line up was to the back of the store for checking out. Never seen so many people there before. Woman's workout wear was on clearance at 30% off- certain designs only. Toys are going fast- lots of empty shelves. I did manage to find a happy birthday banner with came to 85% off- $3.99 and rang in at $.59- I was pleased Other items I purchased were full price, I wanted the sizes so I had to grab them while they were still there. I have a feeling by next weekend there won't be much left... I can't imagine they will actually stay open until May- with the way it's going, they will be closed by Feb. at this rate!

Today I strengthened my mind and visited my Target, too crowded, even some things blocked the cart on floor. Bought 2kelloggs cereals pmed Fortinos $2.99 *2-$2wub 2cereals,2 olay body washes, yugioh cards etc (scanned $12.99 instead of $15.99).Was feeling upset because I miss the awesome Target and awesome staff. The cereal has Hasbro pins and Kelloggs is out of them, which made me more upset.

Not sure if it was an advertised sale or not (there were no signs or clearance stickers) but today I got a black 5 shelf metal storage rack (regular 69.99) for $30!

You'll have to learn to shop at Gymboree for kids' clothes. Their regular prices are high, but the quality and detail seems to be better than Target or Carter's. The thing is, they often have great sales on clearance stuff, and when you use20% off coupons or Gymbucks at certain times of year, you can get unbelievable deals. I often buy kids' shorts and t-shirts online for $3.50 to $4.00 US each in July and have them shipped to a parcel pickup place near the border so I can get the box when we go down there on holiday. I've bought boys' jeans for under $7. It's all about catching the sales. Old Navy also has some cute things (and clearance items for a steal) at times, and I really liked their baby/toddler socks, which are stretchy, cheap, and more likely to stay on than other brands.
