Used my spend $30 on over the counter meds get 8K and did a separate transaction for spend $75 get 18500 in points, I needed stock up items such as mouthwash, granola bars etc so spending the $75 was easy and didn't want the movie ticket promo over the weekend.
Building back up my points for Christmas next yearas this year I did 2 mega redemptions at $200 and 1x $100.00 so hoping to get to 4 mega redemptions this year as I now have sdm groove on (haha)
2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

Hi,
I noticed lately that using manufacture coupons (Not free product coupons) won't reduce your spending required to get the bonus pts. Did anyone experience that?
For example if you have a digital coupon to get 8000 pts when you spend 30$, you have to make sure that your sub total is 30$ or more after coupons to get the bonus pts!!!!
I don't remember I had issue with manufacturer coupons before, and I like using them to reduce my spending....Last edited by engineer4all; Sat, Jan 9th, 2016 at 10:42 PM.

Another, 18.5k WUS $100. GRR! I need 8k WUS $30, 16k WUS $60 or 12k WUS $50. They purposely gave me a high total with the movie tickets weekend promo?

I did not get my points twice recently. Both times, I went home and called about them and was given them right away. The Optimum person on the phone the second time said the base points showed I did spend the minimum and they were not sure why this happened sometimes with coupons. My theory, which I stated and they said that was a possible explanation, was that sometimes I hand in all the coupons at the end of the transaction and other times have them all organized with each product (which the cashiers prefer). However, it seems those are the ones that do not register my optimum points, so I wondered if there was an issue with the subtotal never passing the threshold first as it would with all the coupons given at the end. Mind you, I do not have a long history of experience using Shopper's, so not a lot of receipts from which to drawn a firm conclusion, this is just speculation, but I have taken to handing in coupons at the end now.

Two questions....
I got 12000 wus 50.00 for a Monday offer. Yesterday, I received 2x10.00 gift cards from spending 75.00(we don't have a Cineplex here so they substitute). Can I spend 50.00 and use the two gift cards as part of my payment and still get the 12000 points?
Do 2 wus offers combine? I also have 8000 wus 30.00 on over the counter meds.

That depends .... is it a true "gift card" or is it a special promo card with an expiry date? If it's the promo card then it doesn't work it's almost like a coupon. Usually for the spend and get gift card events they distribute the promo cards..... At least that's been my experience

I received "Receive 18500 BP WUS $100" as my weekly offer and a bunch of small offers, which I will most likely not redeem. I used the WUS offer and received the movie tickets as well.
My SO received 8 product offers- all pretty decent: 20x/15x points, however, no WUS offer.
