Love those fur babies, especially the cats. DH is allergic so no kitties here.
I so agree about the price of food and I am feeding two boys, one teen and one Lacrosse player so the grocery costs are crazy. Right now my plan of attack is PM as much as possible at RCSS and use my PC MasterCard for everything. this week I bought very little, but I did go into SDM today and snagged some free sour cream as I had a mailed to home coupon for 2.00 off and it was on for 1.99. I did buy some dairy even though we are gone for a week, but I made sure they had good dates. I had a 10.00 GC from a few weeks back.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

Hello folks! We finished planting our garden today. I had picked up some dahlias and spikes that were in the "throw out" pile at the nursery just before it closed. Also, the rest of the plants for our window boxes were 65% off. Remember we moved in here in May and unpacking etc. trumped gardening. We also used an overgrown aloe plant to fill in spots and some roses that we got on sale at Sobey' s. Eclectic, you say? Frugal, I say.

On another note here another frugal birthday food freebie I discovered and shared the info with a couponning friend for her birthday last week. If you have an extreme pita restaurant in your town, register with their Facebook page for their club newsletter and get a pita or salad of your choice free at your birthday. You have to print the coupon. Retail of 1 pita is 4,99$ min, only time I went I haved a bogo coupon from newspaper. Now if my darn printer could work. But my birthday is just the january 15,even slow I have time lol.
