Just eating breakfast now; I've been up since 3 a.m., and was SO hungry.
Roasted chicken breast on French bread.
My favourite breakfast is like a full cooked breakfast - but I never have it in the morning, will make it for supper once in a while: homemade hashbrowns, eggs over easy, bacon, and toast.

We usually have a big breakfast, smaller lunch and even smaller dinner.
Seems to work for us.

This morning it is a caramel latte. Somehow I managed to be super late, missing not one but two buses so breakfast just did not happen this morning. Usually its just something small on the way out the door, like fruit and a protein shake. My favorite breakfast is pancakes or french toast with bacon. Yummy!!

Today I had plain greek yogurt drizzled with honey and chopped up strawberries. A glass of water and a banana. My favorite breakfast is mushroom and cheese omelette with a few slices of turkey bacon.

Health conscious me usually eats a bowl a overnight oats.
But...
Fantasy world me loves a stack of pancakes with real maple syrup and sausages....or a conventional,. egg, bacon, homefries, and toast deal.
Whatever world I'm living in, coffee is ALWAYS the staple.
The one thing I really really REALLY miss since I cut out *most* of the gluten in my diet is the variety for breakfast. Gluten free pancakes taste like cardboard; gluten free waffles taste like cardboard and I really miss a big fat piece of nice white full-on-wheaty-goodness bread toasted golden brown and slathered in peanut butter... because... you guessed it....most gluten free breads also taste like cardboard too."Be yourself. Well, I grew up in a European household, so the thinking for breakfast was pastries with espresso coffee. Not a fan of coffee (yes, I am very very strange
), so pastries it was. Or crackers on days when my health issues made breakfast unpalatable. These days, I still adhere to the pastry concept for breakfast, which is where KitKats come in - hey, think about it they have wafers covered in chocolate, so technically they're a pastry.
On occasion I'll have a big breakfast, usually when on vacation when I'll need the strength to keep up with friends. And if there are freshly baked croissants (with chocolate inside, yummm), then I'm in heaven. Drool.
