Very clichéd but the truth is you will never please everyone. Get over that hump and you have won a big battle.

stay in school.
I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

All of the above, and stay true to who you are; if your friends want you to change, they're not your friends.
Don't conform to anyone else's idea of who you should be.
Of course that does not apply to parents, who know what's good for you...
Oh. And as soon as you get a job, start putting money away every month that is absolutely untouchable!

LOL! Great answer walks!
I would say, live your life like there is no tomorrow. Say the things you want to say and do the things you wish to do NOW. Don't wait for "a better time" to come along. You will wait forever and squander all the opportunities in between.
You never know when life will throw you a curve ball and nobody wants to have regrets. So make it count TODAY!"Be yourself. Everyone else is already taken." Oscar Widle

Great answers. ^^
I would say not to spend time worrying about small things that don't matter at all.

Two truths that have become crystal clear to me in recent years:
Each kindness shown, no matter how small, is a powerful act and is more important than you might ever know.

All wonderful answers!!!
One thing I would add is not to be afraid to take chances. Not saying you should hitch a ride on a slow boat to Timbuktu (or wherever), but if an opportunity comes along and you're nervous to try it, get a friend to come with you and take a risk. Had more than a few of those pass by in my life (one was the chance to join a band while in university, but was too afraid I'd actually have to perform one day instead of merely being the songwriter).
Another thing is to not dwell on what-ifs. You are a product of your experiences, if things had gone a different way, you would not be you.

Stand up for what you believe in. No matter if it is the unpopular opinion. I've achieved a few things this way.
Have a fighting spirit. It can serve you well in so many areas of your life. This has also served me very well thus far in life.

Be true to yourself. You only have one life to live so don't be afraid to be yourself. Even if that means being unpopular and have purple hair!

Being happy. Truly happy. Down in your gut, your heart, your soul, your spirit - so it shines out of you, and in your eyes and smile. (yes, no matter what!)
