I just picked up some toques, neck warmers and snoods (scarf and hood combined) for the Christmas bag, on clearance at Giant Tiger for 50 cents, and a few 2 packs for the same price too! Some will be just for our own use too.

Moved $100 to the Christmas account today.
Grabbed 2 x 6pk socks that my oldest loved and put them in the Christmas bin. He's an adult now and even though I still buy him undies and socks he appreciates fancy ones he likes at Christmas ( I bought fancy name boxers at 70% off last year and filled and wrapped a box at Christmas and he loved it. His brother told me he would like that too lol. I have already started buying some as I see them.)

I knit my mom a shawl that she can wrap around herself when watching tv. Matches her tv room colours so she can drape over her love seat when not using. Partway through a shawl/ scarf for one niece, then will do one for another niece.

My Christmas savings this year so far are $0. I have been able to put $ away in past years. Not this one. I have been using our gift fund when I see something. Our property tax payments end earlier this year. I will use that money on the months with no payments to put into Christmas fund. This will fall Oct/Nov. so timing is a little later than I like, but just in time.
I picked up LCD writing tablets at Costco this week for $25 each for my three daughters. I have put them away as Santa presents. This was a big score for us. Name brand Boogie Boards are $40 and have been on my list as a gift purchase for them for sometime now.Last edited by Granger; Mon, Jul 30th, 2018 at 01:04 PM.
