I read an article in the Globe and Mail today that just reaked of bias. It was about Lesbian parenthood but came off more as stating men arent needed in parenting and kids are better off without fathers. At one point it was claimed that research showed there is 0% chance of child abuse in Lesbian parent families compared to heterosexual families, then outright admitted that this research was taken from a small sampling and that the subjects might have lied to cover fro their families, but then the articel stated that the research was probbaly close to the truth so its acceptable. basically stating they know the results arent accurate but choose to accept it as accurate because it says what they want it to say. Of course the article also went on to say spousal abuse was rare compared to heterosexual families and that Lesbian parent families are happier compared to heterosexual families. It came off as a man hating tract more than anything else.

It would appear Mark Ruffalo can't string a sentence together (gotta love live tv). Good thing he's pretty.

Took the short one for a visit to the office to meet some folks who just started working there. He was his usual charming self. What impressed them the most was his willingness to let me put his coat on him (it's cold & damp here). Apparently, cats aren't supposed to let you do that.
