Good Morning Everyone,
Yippee it is Thursday so much closer to the weekend. I am in a different location today going to work with some of the staff and then I have meetings this afternoon with a customer and then Dad and the controller.
Looks like I am going to have to try to re write the pattern for the slippers my Mom sold to a co worker. The original pattern does not work at all, so I tried to find a new one and all have bad reviews (now I understand all things get bad reviews for various reasons) but I am afraid of buying 3 or 4 patterns to try to mash together only to still not have something workable and still needing to re write it myself. So instead I am going to try to work off what I could find on the internet for free and go from there. I really do not want to spend the money I am making off these on patterns that may or may not work.
Tonight since I will be getting home later then normal I plan to sit down and write a list of what I need to get done by Christmas in the way of crochet and hopefully Saturday I can buy the last of the yarn I need for Christmas. My plan is not to accept anything more for Christmas let's just hope Mom doesn't either.
Alright well off to train, have a great day everyone.

Good Morning! My last day of work for the week! But will be crazy trying to get a good dent of my shopping done tonight/tomorrow. Did a load of laundry last night and hung it all to dry this morning. Will fluff some in the dryer tonight and get it ALL put away. Need to post stuff for sale too so hope to get a good lot of that done tonight since I will be around for pick-ups. Really hate to rush Christmas but I will be happy once it is done and I can use my time off to get the house in order. So much to do.

DH says yes because the price is good, the necklace is in stock and I've gone without for several years and I still want it back. Then there's the possibility that the Canadian dollar could sink lower and I would kick myself for not getting it now.
I agree with your DH. Since you are looking for a specific necklace I`d grab it while it`s available.

@sweet sparrow I believe in your hearts of hearts you know you should purchase the necklace, it's a good deal, yes more than you paid BUT if you don't get it you will always regret it.
2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

Morning all,
Nothing exciting going on here today, just some catching up on things that need to get done. The nurse now comes every 2 days which good and says that it's healing well.
Wishing everyone a great day.
PS for those that have gamers in the family, EB games flyer is live online, just ordered an xbox1 madmax game reg. $69.99 for $39.99 so head on over to the website and snag some deals while they are available.
I am done all of youngest's Christmas & Santa gifts, just need a few odds & ends for his stocking (maybe $20)
And hopefully after my Saturday redemption I should be done the eldest, Christmas & Santa gifts.
I'm hoping to get the camera for dh and have already ordered a small token gift to accompany the camera.
BIL is all done
MIL & FIL have not yet given us their lists sigh....I've already asked 3 times so I'm not concerned, as dh says if he has time once he gets the list he will shop for them.
I still need to spend about $20 on my dad, thinking of getting a gc for that (free from pc points).
My mom is hard because she doesn't wait to get things as she has the $ to buy them herself. I can't purchase perfume as I gave her a bottle in February so, we'll see.2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

I keep saying you're my online twin.
It's been over two years and I guess that's probably long enough to sit on the decision. In fact, it's been so long that it's going to cost me $75 for the "waiting" fee.
Thanks, @saundyl !
Thanks, @Crochetlady !
One other reason to get it is that I've looked for it, waited for it, looked for a better version (didn't find one that suited me better), and it's still my favourite.
The other thing I could do is apply for an Amazon Visa to get rid of the currency conversion fee ($8) and get an extra $20 credit, but do I really want another credit card? And will the vendor honour the price until I can get the Visa?

SS-I can't really advise you, as only you know your budget and also how you feel about purchasing this necklace vs other things you may also wish to have for the same $ figure. I am confident that you will reflect on the opinions offered and make the decision that is right for you.

@Sweets parrow The price of gold has doubled in the last decade so you would probably never get it at the old price anyway.

good morning to you all ( oops I mean afternoon ) time flies when you are hitting up a few grocery stores.
I was at Metro early eager to grab the 8 kg bags of Beneful Dog food that was on sale for $17.99 and to use my $4.00 coupons on each bag.
The shelf prices were not reflecting the sale so I smelled a SCOP!! but sadly I discovered after checking my shopping list that the sale was at Food Basics! doh!!
Anyone else a tad annoyed at high produce prices? I hit the NF reduced rack for 6 x $1.49 bags of various fruits/veg....did o.k. just cannot waste my time at WM anymore trying to guess when they will have their cart filled and out. ( WM does have the better prices and quality in reduced items but unless you are right there when it comes out, you lose )
Redeemed $50.00 with my PC points at NF, that always makes the shopping feel good!
Have a fab day everyone.

Oh my yes I am getting sticker shock on produce! Did you see my post the other day? Walmart was selling a 3pk of romaine hearts for $6.97. WOWZA! This has encouraged us even more to really utilize the garden at my moms house next year. We are going to start seeds indoors in the Spring too. Good thing we are loving the PC frozen green beans. (go on sale all the time and we get PC pts) May be our veggie for the winter lol
