I have suddenly come down with a cold so it's sleeping in the basement for me. I sincerely hope DH doesn't catch this. The dog won't even venture down here in the dark dungeon to join me.

I am set - Kleenex - phone - glass of water and Kindle.

As my Nana used to say when she wanted to throw a guilt trip on us, (In a Northern English accent,) "I'll be alright here all by meself."

Aw, you poor critter, you're so run-down physically and emotionally. Sometimes our bodies do what we don't do for ourselves: rest.
Sorry you're all by youself....get well soon, Sweetie. In the meantime...REST.

Hello folks!

It sure is wonderful the support and kind thoughts you all extend to us.

My brother and his wife and 2 boys came to visit today. My other brother joined us. We ate, opened gifts (Birthday and Valentine's), played Balderdash and laughed! Went for walks, the boys went geocaching and found a cache. The brave tried a Chinese New Year dessert treat that we probably won't try again. Hugs and talks. WWF wrestling match for those interested, looked through old pictures.

DH had requested that we keep everything "light". He was able to "watch-from-the-side" and I really loved having them here.

We did get news on Friday. It was not the best we could hope for. But the expert on moving forward will be back on Monday. He will need to do some more analysis into where this cancer has originated and then make a plan.

DH has been very tired.

I am going to go and put something together for supper.
My cold seems to have left.

Good morning, Avon....I hope you can touch base today with the doctor who's going to read the biopsy report and make a determination as to your Hubby's cancer's origin, and very soon determine a course of action.
