Yuip. There is a recent thread on here discussing the lack of coupons. It's not just you.

I think that a lot of companies are now going online with printable or mail-to-home coupons or rebate and cashback apps. This enables them to retain more control.
Also, here in the belle province, there are a lot of TV shows that glorify couponing a la TLC's Extreme Couponing. It has been hell in the last few years and getting worse.

here in N.S. we didnt even get the brandsaver in the newspaper, used to be hundreds of dollars in coupons , last one was $49 cause i bought them on ebay.
because of those extreme couponing shows , it is harder to use a legit coupon, let alone a printable

I don't think its so much of the extreme couponing shows anymore - that was a few years ago. I think with increasing food costs manufactures are just not offering as much promotional materials (coupons) anymore or they are but at a very low face value.
I was noticing this as well in regards to less coupons. A few things - less tearpads in stores not that I could find many around here anyways but I don't even see the empty hangers anymore. We used to get inserts at our building but no longer receive them and have not been for 8+ months now. There are less people on the trading forum and to remain on the front page of the trading forum one only really needs to "bump" their board once a week. It used to be you had to bump it every day and yet you would still eventually get put on the second page. I realize its still technically the beginning of the year but generally this is when we tend to see a pick up after the dreaded December purge.
Then lastly the decline in reward programs and apps - snapsaves, lean cuisine, purell points, etc. It seems like everytime we turn around another app/program is hitting the graveyard.
I haven't used CO51 since end of November either. There is never anything on there of interest.Insert Clever Signature Here
