SassyAshley - my daughter had some ant bite this year (I think, I self-diagnosed) they were quite nasty and almost blistery
Went in to prepare my class today. The teacher I am job sharing with seems lovely and I think we will work well together. We both seem flexible enough to compromise but also aren't afraid to state our preferences. I think if we can continue to be open and honest, it will be great. Sharing can be hard! I know the experience will make me a better person.
If I am less present, the whirlwind of back to school and the new transition has got me distracted is all. I will try to keep up! It is a nice break."There are more important things--friendship and bravery...."

Lovely dinner at home to celebrate the newly minted teenager, 3 of the 4 grandparent were able to attend which was lovely and his BFF. My dad is not well so he stayed home, but he did remember to call Logan tonight which was appreciated. I made the cake and it was devoured by all. So that one done and 4 more to go in the next 3 weeks. It gets expensive around here this time of year.
I had another FB sale today of a few books. I am loving the decluttering.
Sassy: ouch, I hate getting bites and have bug spray every where.
Saundyl: another ouch. At least no cast but still no fun.Friends don't let real friends pay full price.

lilo - Happy Birthday to your son!
Teen boys ARE fun; we had very little trouble with ours, yet lots of fun challenges!
He's just left, had come over for supper and a visit, so on his way out I loaded him up with leftover, some sandwiches, fruit, and baking.

Good morning everyone! 2 Days of work then an extra long weekend! My sister and I have booked 2 nights at Great Wolf Lodge in November. We wanted to take the kids in the Spring but it just didn't work. I have never been so looking forward to it. Will be good sister and cousin quality time
.
Hockey season has started for us- Last week it started so I am already in hockey dinner night planning! I have made a huge container of cooked ground beef so I can whip up quick pasta/pasta sauce for DS. This weekend I plan on making lasagna. And will ask Gram to make homemade mac and cheese. I have tried and just can't recreate Grams!!
I redeemed for another $100 PC points card on the weekend and have basically spent it all. Stocked up on Boneless skinless chicken breast and some other staples. Will appreciate the shopping in the coming months. So should just be fresh stuff needed for the next while.
Tonight is laundry night! Will sort it all and get it all done and put away!
Have a fantastic day everyone!

-just ordered a margarita pizza for hubby and I then went to pick it up -yummm so good and 3 slices left over for lunch on Wednesday -saved 5.00 off pizza as it was a special mon/tue /wed if you ordered the large -from earth to table bar on locke -sooo good
-didn't feel like cooking today(as I had hardly no sleep -thanks to the ringing in my one ear) and it was like a date on our patio -we ate out back at our patio table

I wanted to take the kids to the family centre, but it was closed due to a lack of volunteers, so we did a few errands. I picked out a large bag of clothes and light jackets for myself and the kids from a free church clothing program in town. I've made sure to donate some different clothes to them to contribute to their clothing program.

I made $7 this morning from selling extra zucchinis and tomatoes from my garden. The twins napped for 2hrs this morning, so I spent this time in the back yard with the older kids. I was able to get a lot of weeding done in the yard. I wear gloves, but my finger is still sore from it. It looks like we are probably buying the van in town that has a lot of the "bells and whistles." Dh climbed underneath of it yesterday after work to check it out and he is quite happy. I have a haircut booked for tonight. I only get my long hair cut twice a year, it's getting too long.

Oh bug bites suck! Get well soon. (And thank you too)
Our hockey season will be wonky as they just finished tearing down our arena..supposedly there will be a canvas tent with natural ice in
..but also travel to places 3 hours away to get ice time. Town is hoping to have a new arena up for tge January 2018 arctic winter games hosted in our town this time.
